        3. Yes, and so I have to question his loyalty to the Party

    4. Kind of amazing since SLO tends toward red.

Don't blame me. I voted for Bernie and Jill.

      6. It did but apparently those days are over. The newly elected Mayor

is a Bernie progressive too. It also voted in Bernie in the primary.

    5. Yay San Luis Obispo County!!

I could not go as I have been under the weather with a stubborn flu virus and a mystery gastric ailment.

However my dear friend did go and stood in what she described as driving rain along with hundreds of other patriots. She called me that night to tell me what a thrill it was and how determined the Bernie people were.  The results exceeded everyone’s expectations. Tomorrow we will be attending a San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisor meeting to make sure a progressive gets the position of top banana replacing a tea bagger in the position now.

SLO was purple when I first moved here with Republicans dominating elected positions. I really never thought I’d see the day. Bernie sure has made a difference here.

      8. Isn't it funny that a county which leans GOP went to Berniecrats?

Imagine if Bernie was the nominee. He would have taken the rust belt by storm and we’d be celebrating right now. Instead, the DNC decided Shitlery had to be the nominee and gave us Trump.

    9. Goes well with Trump losing California by 30% and more than 4 million votes.

    :)

FDR stood for high/progressive taxes, tight regulation of corporations, effective legislation to support strong unions, a strong safety net, fiscal policy that supports full employment rather than austerity, engagement with the rest of the world in terms of trade and diplomacy and the Four Freedoms. Bernie supports the same issues plus an understanding of the danger posed by climate change. Count me as an FDR/Bernie liberal.

    10. That spells the end of Nancy Pelosi and her ilk! GOOD!!!

Please don’t secede, California! Usurp the rest from within!

"Someone hacks the DNC allowing all of America to see how the DNC operates as one of the most corrupt political machines in national history. Ergo, Hillary Clinton should be installed as President by judicial fiat. And if you do not agree to this scheme you deserve to be brought up on charges of treason because fascism." - NUGrrl, december 2016 “Once a person has been determined to be an UNTRUSTWORTHY LIAR, their pretend stances on important issues are simply not relevant to rational discussion.” – Ida Briggs, September 2016
