Hey guys, not a biggie but links don't work

Specifically if you hit link and then attempt to add a description to the link.  You can mess around with them and force them to sort of work, but hey, you asked for folks to report issues so I am faithfully doing so.  I’m likely the only person that even uses the link button, so understand it is coming from a place of deep-seated bug reporting instinct.

    1. Huh..?

or not.  I just added a sub·cu·ta·ne·ous link to the image above and it seems to be okay on my end. – hmm….

      2. Try to use it with a "naked" add-on-less browser.

Try it again using one that has what normal people use.  Try it yet again without messing around with HTML.

That’s what I meant by it being a minor issue, since it’s nothing anybody really uses.

        3. I'm just using an

Ancient version of Firefox.  I think it is V19.  I just need the browser to be in good harmony with the add-ons I have so that is one reason I don’t adhere to ‘upgrade’ demands. So far all works well – well except g-mail decided to make things all fuckedy-fuk. so I said bye-bye to them last week. Other than that… All works Splendid

on Edit.  I guess what should be asked, is *what* browser are *you* running with?

        testing….

        4. If you are attempting via an android

device – hit the triple dots and ‘request desktop site’ to allow the functionality of the site to work properly.

and, Strip Away all that unwanted *Naked Browsing*

          5. I use three different browsers with different profile settings

I keep extra profiles handy in case I get a corrupt one, and Chrome is a little squirrely with not being able to be launched in safe mode like Firefox can be.  If all else fails, use fresh booted Mint with Links :).  I actually browsed JPR with it :). Command line, ascii, a tad awkward, but gets the job done.

Iceweasel is off of a pure knoppix boot is really smooth, too.

            6. I'm still on my xp64 pro

until all else fails. I am interested into looking to dual boot into ubuntu studio (I have had Zorin for a long while intending on seting it up, but never did) here shortly but am really happy about how well the 64bit (rare) version of xp has held up with all the kernel demands that are made toward the OS.

As recent as a few short weeks ago I have noticed as far as web hokieness, google got very fishy with their site re-makes and I am sure it is not geared with the user’s best intent in mind – I can still trigger into the basic html site for g-mail but I am sure this will get kicked by the wayside as well soon so I have jumped out to some other snazzy freebies that are out there and dinkin’ with those.
