Law enforcement agencies were kept busy covering vehicle crashes Sunday morning due to slick roads in the subzero temperatures.
Two people were taken to the Creighton University Medical Center in critical condition after a two-vehicle wreck at the top of the Interstate 480 and 10th Street entrance ramp. The crash occurred about 7:30 a.m., according to a 911 dispatcher.
An Omaha police cruiser blocked the ramp, preventing eastbound travel while the crash was investigated. Officers called for sand and salt trucks to treat the roadway before reopening the Interstate.
The ramp remained closed at 9:45 a.m.Paper Roses, Sunflower, NVBirdlady and 4 othersMom Cat, Live and Learn, Babel 17, jwirr like this"P.S. please if you get a chanse put some flowrs on Algernons grave in the bak yard.": Flowers for Algernon
