So I have some photos of the scene in Fruitvale (Ghost Ship Warehouse fire)

I see from jpr Q&A that we can can upload photos to our jpr Gallery from our system>  but the question I have tonight is, how are photos retrieved from the jpr gallery for posting in the editor window?

They’re not great photos and none are close up shots, cuz it’s all cordoned off and all that. I wanted to share my experience today and the impact it has had on the community.  If i can just upload photos that would be great.

    1. Click the 'Add Media' button above the menu bar

when typing in your post. It will take you to a page that lets you upload images, and/or select one to plop into your post.

          5. Well a cheat works

just RMB’d on your image to ‘view image’ and copy clipped the url location,

ctrl-v Here and Viola! Utilize the Grips to size for more ease (you had already done the work by plopping it in the bucket tho)

forgive the earlier statemen! I didn’t know the backstory to this – sometime… I suk

            6. Thanks! But wait. what does "RMB" mean?

is that in reference to resizing and if so, that’s what you meant by “grips”?  is there a known standard dimensional parameter to go by as a general rule we should use as reference point?  I have more images, but don’t want to proceed until I understand the basics better.  I appreciate your time.

              7. RMB = 'Right Mouse Button'

and once you have uploaded a picture to some online storage; say it being at the JPR gallery or someplace like imgur and have the means to view it, a url (web location) for that image should be shown at the top of your web page – this is where that image lives on the web. You can then highlight that url and copyclip the info (like RMB – ‘copy’ or ctrl-c) and paste whenever (ctrl-v or RMB ‘paste) and wherever in the body of your post.

when you cursor select the image once placed, adjuster grips on the corners should appear that you can then drag to size the image to your liking.

Hope that clears thing up some for ya.

              .

      4. I did a test upload and it's all wonky.

It’s probably a sizing thingy.  I work on it in the morning. I have to crash. it’s been a long day.

if it’s the size thing. what’s the max dimensions I should use as a perimeter?

        8. Sorry.

Can you define ‘wonky’? That will help. The pic you posted above looks ok on my phone.
