Who are Florida JPRs voting for in the US Senate race?

Just curious about this because I’m going over the sample ballot I got in the mail.  I absolutely cannot stand Rubio, and could never vote for Murphy either.  I’ve narrowed it down to Tony Khoury, Steven Machat, and Basil E. Dalack, who certainly has the most interesting platform in that we must first achieve peace before attempting to solve every other issue.  Of course, some people would dismiss that as impossible or flaky, but what’s wrong with voting for peace?

I’m also interested if anyone knows any of these candidates personally, or has ever met them, and what their thoughts are on each.

    1. The fucking libertarian.

i have no idea who he is. I don’t agree with much of libertarian philosophy. But I refuse to vote for the empty-suit teabagger Rubio, or DWS’s poodle dog fake Democrat Murphy.  This is my protest vote. Not sure who the other guys are, info? I’ll consider them.

      2. Ha ha, yeah, Paul Stanton

I totally and completely understand where you’re coming from because the Florida Democratic Party puts up a lot of losers, many of whom aren’t much different from the Republicans they’re running against.  Probably because most of them used to be one.

I do agree with Stanton on a couple of issues myself, such as ending foreign military interventions, and the bank bailouts and Fed’s quantitative easing were enormous wastes of money and detrimental to the country.  But it’s when Libertarians go off the rails in wanting further deregulation of the financial markets and replacing Social Security with private retirement programs I remember why I couldn’t vote for one.  Since my plan is to do what I must to stop Hillary from winning because the polls are still very close here, I figure the Senate is the one race where I can vote for who I agree with on most issues.

    3. I might just write in Alan Grayson

I don’t know much about the others, but I agree with you on Rubio and Murphy. Both are awful!

    4. OK, after spending some time reading about them. Khoury is a Rick Scott loving

Repug, so no deal there. Dalack hasn’t made a real effort at getting any of his ideas-or himself-out there. Machat seems like a Berniecrat, so that’s who I’ll have to go with. Plus he wants to take another shot at making Florida “Hollywood East” so we don’t lose so much business to Atlanta. I used to work in the film industry here, so I would welcome a return of big studio business to the Sunshine State.

      5. Thanks for that heads up on Khoury.

I had no idea he made those comments in support of Scott.  I wonder how someone with his positions on issues could even think they love what Scott has done with the state.
