    1. Adding Jesus Garcia and Carlos Ramirez-Rosa as candidates for Illinois 4th…

They both seemed to be confirmed as candidates now to replace outgoing Luis Guitierrez.  And both are good Berniecrat candidates.

Will have limited time to post on this thread and JPR in general this whole week, as personal life has gotten immensely busy in time demands on me now this week.  But will add obvious candidates when I have time and they stand out to me.

    3. Adding huge Berniecrat Angel Sides for Illinois 13th district…

Her twitter feed I’ve put up above has her concerned about the DNC rigging the primary, and she even didn’t like Bernie supporting Hillary in the presidential election as noted here…  The kind of revolutionary candidate we need more of!

    https://www.ilnews.org/news/state_politics/unlikely-alliances-form-in-opposing-hillary-clinton-in-springfield/article_c4d87db2-e2a6-5105-b9af-02cf318cea71.html

“Angel Sides of Springfield campaigned for Clinton’s primary opponent, Bernie Sanders. She said she feels betrayed by Sanders’ recent support of Clinton.

“I’m kind of feeling burnt,” she said. “Instead of ‘feeling the Bern,’ I’m feeling burnt.”

Sides also said she believes voter fraud in several states was overlooked because of Clinton’s influence.”

    4. Adding Dan Drew for Connecticut governor…

Supports Bernie’s policies, and had this to say about Bernie Sanders’ socialist stances…

    https://patch.com/connecticut/brookfield/drew-wants-democrats-return-roosevelt-roots

Middletown Mayor Dan Drew says Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are not taking the Democratic Party down the path to Karl Marxism.

Free college tuition, a $15 minimum wage and protecting American workers from low-wage foreign competition is not a replica of Abbie Hoffman’s 1968 Yippie Party platform.

“A lot of these ideas have been mainstream Democratic ideas for a long time,” said Drew, who was initially elected mayor in 2011 and has been campaigning for the Democratic gubernatorial nomination since January.

The mayor said they have been part of the platform from Franklin Roosevelt through Harry Truman, John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson and beyond. Drew has a framed photograph of Roosevelt in his office.

    6. Adding Freeman Michaels to California district 52…

Scott Peters has no primary challengers from Dems yet, but he does have former Green Party member Freeman Michaels challenging him.  This page shows a number of contributions Michaels made to Bernie’s campaign in 2016.

    http://www.city-data.com/elec2/16/elec-SAN-DIEGO-CA-16-part13.html

A nice thoughtful article he wrote on Bernie’s campaign and how as a supporter he might have run it differently.

He would be a good option to choose for some change.  Not sure he can make it through the jungle primary system in California now, but it would be a good opportunity if he were to get one of the final two spots along with Peters.  A lot of independents and even Republicans might vote for him along with Berners.

Those who want to meet him in this district can go to this event next week.

    7. Just found a Bernie candidate centric wiki page here…

… that looks like it is getting started, and has some candidates in it I might merge in to ours.  Maybe some of you with more time than I have currently can browse his site and see if there are other candidates to put in.  If any of you have contact with the owner of this site, perhaps recommend we work together to get both of our sites well populated with current candidates.

    8. Removing Julian Bell from Oregon district 2

I’ve been told he’s no longer or not in the race.  Ballotpedia doesn’t show him in the race either, so it must have been an exploratory announcement I saw earlier when I added him.  Focus on the other Berniecrats still in this race now.

    9. Adding Cathy Glasson for Iowa governor…

We already have a more hard core Bernie supporter in Jon Niederbach, but Cathy Glasson, along with heavy Bernie supporter in congressional candidate Pete D’Alessandro, got endorsed by the National Nurses Union today, who have been really a focal point in turns of organizations to help us lead the Bernie revolution.

She looks to be wanting to do the right things for Iowan, and is from Coralville, which might have made her my neighbor if I stayed where I lived in college days.

From her web site to appeal to Bernie folk…
