      5. This guy (Greg Jones) sounds good for Alaska rep…

Not finding much more about him beside this article though.  Would like to add him as an avid Bernie supporter he is said to be.

      6. J.D. Wardell running for Idaho's 2nd district definitely belongs here…

His facebook campaign page has a lot of Bernie notes and this link to an article he wrote in the Idaho State Journal says it all…

      7. Add Zak Ringelstein for Maine senate seat…

He sounds like a good candidate.

Nice article calling him “Berniesh” here.

      http://hotstove.bangordailynews.com/2018/01/24/home/best-of-the-bunch-ringelstein-for-senate-fulford-for-cd2/

This article also says that Ranked Choice Voting that recently passed statewide there could help him win.  Would be good to get him to take a stand supporting this for the rest of the country too.  That would lock up with more firmness my recommendation for Zak here.

      8. Add Green's Paula Overby for Minnesota Senate seat.

Says she aligns with Bernie on twitter here…

      https://twitter.com/Paula_Overby/status/941557525454970881

Hmm…  Looks like she organized an “Our Revolution” event for Bernie in 2016!

      9. Add Steve Bacher to Pennsylvania's 8th district.

Recently announced in January his candidacy.  This article has it sound like the Bernie folk in this area like him best of the options. The two other Democrats running don’t seem too progressive, one of them being a former Republican.

      10. Adding Lindy Li to Pennsylvania 1st district…

Incumbent Bob Brady just confirmed pulling out of the race in light of scandals, etc. he’s been involved in, so this seat might be a good opportunity for a pickup.  Liked this article I found on Lindy Li and how she notes she supports pretty much all of Bernie’s positions, and has some of his campaign staff on her team.  Would like to see other progressive group endorsements of her to confirm her over other challengers for this seat to solidify this pick.  Haven’t had time to do as much of that sort of research as I’d like.

      https://epeak.in/2018/01/24/lindy-li-candidate-for-u-s-congress-pa-01-philly-dsa-questionnaire/

This article shows how she tried to fight the DCCC neoliberal machine in other Pennsylvania congressional distirict primaries in 2016, so I think we have a good potential people’s candidate in Li running here.

      14. Need input here… Georgia's NAACP head Francys Johnson now running…

      … for Georgia’s 12th district.

First thing that came up in research I did is this interview with MSNBC during 2016 election, where he speaks against the push for him to say that African Americans all support Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders, and said quite a few things to contradict the corporate media/DNC mind set that was pushed on to us that Clinton had “already won” then…  If I find other more recent articles where he supports Our Revolution/Sanders style change, I’ll add him, but he’s on my radar here.  Watch interview here and give your feedback.

      16. Adding independent Charly Mercado for California's 51st district…

He’s an independent and has been speaking to Bernie supporting groups as noted here on the coming election.

      17. In California, add

Pat Harris, Democrat, for U.S. Senate — https://patharrisforsenate.com/

Impressive background; Progressive; accepts zero corporate contributions.

      For California governor:

Josh Jones, Green Party — http://www.josh4gov.org/

Berniecrats volunteer organizer, founded Davis for Bernie Sanders in 2015. Was part of Occupy movement in 2011.

      Michael Bracamontes, Democrat — https://bracamontes4gov.org/

Not accepting corporate donations. Civil rights attorney.

For CA Lt. Governor: Gayle McLaughlin, NPP — https://gayleforcalifornia.org/

Bernie supporter & endorsed by him in 2014. Former Mayor of Richmond, CA, co-founded Richmond Progressive Alliance. Will not accept corporate money. Took on Chevron and won.

For CA Assembly AD66: Caney Arnold, NPP — http://voteforcaneyarnold.com/

Bernie supporter. Won’t accept corporate money.

        19. I'm trying to be conscious of bad split problems with jungle primary in CA…

We already have two real good and endorsed candidates for state senator in Alison Hartson, David Hildebrandt, and Steve Stokes (who I might remove later, but have left him in as an early entry).  If you have some good links showing Pat Harris’s actions to do what us Berniecrats want, please post here.  If they are really good, I will add too.

I’ll do research on others.  Thanks for the notes for others here, but this list for now only focuses on congressional and gubernatorial races, which is all I have close to the time to do in my currently already too busy life now.

Looking at the thread on the debate posted here where it noted that David Hildebrandt won the debate with Kevin De Leon, it has me continue to wonder if De Leon was a party establishment plant to try to further split opposition to0 Feinstein to help make sure she makes the final two candidates on the list in the primary, and if someone like De Leon were to win the 2nd, it would likely deflate the vote turnout for opposition voters who want her out, if De Leon doesn’t excite them, but he gets more establishment money in the primaries to win more votes in the jungle primary earlier.

          20. I was recently at a "South Bay Non-Corporate Candidate Forum"

which was put on by South Bay People’s Alliance, a “local group of Berners, progressives, lefties, peaceniks . . ..” Pat Harris was there, along with Alison Hartson, David Hildebrand, and one other unimpressive (in my opinion) candidate. Pat Harris had a 23-year career as a civil rights attorney. He got in the race because “he sees a rare opportunity for Progressives to achieve Universal Healthcare, Environmental Protection, Income Equality, and Criminal Justice Reform.”

          Medicare For All

          Cut Defense Budget

          Train police to deescalate situations

          Equal pay

          No wall

He’s traveling up and down the state in an ethanol-powered bus with solar panels on the roof.

Hildebrand and Hartson were also impressive; however, I felt that Harris was the most interesting. He brought up issues of bail reform and funding to tackle the large backlog of rape kits.

      22. Add Terra Snover for California's 10th district…

Dotty Nygard looks like a great Dem candidate in this district already.  But if she loses the nomination, there’s always transgender and “Bernie Sanders fan” independent Terra Snover to vote for in the general election.  She’s mentioned here…

      23. Green candidate running against Pelosi (Barry Hermanson)

Another option for those who don’t like Pelosi is Berry Hermanson.  Hope they don’t all split the jungle primary vote to keep her in as general election candidate.  He’s noted as a pro-Bernie guy in this post here.
