      2. Add Justin Santopietro for Virginia's 9th district…

We already have the only other Democrat listed in this district for our list, but Justin has some good credentials with endorsements from Bernie’s economist noted here in DownWithTyrany blog.

      http://downwithtyranny.blogspot.com/2018/02/guest-post-stephanie-kelton-introduces.html

Richard Eskow also does a nice interview with him here too for Mike Papantonio’s Ring of Fire web site.

      https://trofire.com/2017/12/31/progressive-appalachia-w-justin-santopietro/

Looks like a good shot to get this district to go progressive in a red state between these two candidates.

      3. Removed Mat Tomkowiak from Illinois 3rd District. Just withdrew.

Solidify your support for Marie Newman now for this seat.

      5. Adding Robert Hunziger for Washington's 8th district…

Now two Berniecrats in that district in a crowded Democratic field facing just one Republican Dino Rossi in it.  Hoping one of them can make it through that stupid jungle primary system.  He looks like a good candidate and perhaps better than the other Berniecrat in this race Tom Cramer.

She was just endorsed by Brand New Congress today and is in their candidates list here now.

      10. Our Revolution Endorses Cathy Glasson for Iowa Governor

WASHINGTON– Our Revolution on Thursday announced its endorsement of Cathy Glasson for Governor of Iowa. Cathy is also endorsed by multiple Our Revolution local groups across the state.

“We are proud to support a progressive candidate like Cathy who has such strong ties to the labor community,” said Shannon Jackson, Executive Director of Our Revolution. “From her work with the SEIU to her activism on issues like raising the minimum wage and providing universal health care, Cathy has set herself apart from the competition. Having lived in Iowa her entire life, Cathy knows the needs of the working-class people of all backgrounds. Cathy is a proven leader who will work to ensure all Iowans have access to a good paying job, affordable housing, and quality health care.

Our Revolution supports progressive champions at every level of government. By supporting candidates up and down the ballot, we are aiming to transform American politics to make our political and economic systems responsive to the needs of working families.

      13. Add Chris Perri for 25th District in Texas. Endorsed by Our Revolution Texas.

Chris Perri looks like another good guy to have here as noted in this article out today on who should replace the “car dealer” in office now in this district…

      https://www.austinchronicle.com/news/2018-02-09/congressional-district-25/

Also noted as one of three congressional candidates endorsed by Our Revolution Texas here.

      14. Replacing Scott Sturm with Dale Mantey in Texas 17th district…

Confirming here that Scott Sturm withdrew earlier.

      https://ballotpedia.org/Scott_Sturm

And Dale Mantey appears to be the best Democrat of the two in this race now, having hung out with Nina Turner and other Our Revolution folk as noted here:

      http://www.thepictaram.club/share/BZ83E6Ahizi

… and on this list of “sleeper candidates” with many of our other candidates here.

      15. Adding Dr. Kyle Horton running for North Carolina's 7th district

Looks like the Bernie Sanders crowd in local North Carolina areas support her as noted here:

      16. Add Sander Hicks for New York's 12th district.

Running a primary challenge.  He looks like a strong Bernie supporter to the point that in this video he notes he voted for Jill Stein in the general election rather than Trump or Hillary.

      18. A note for those looking at the list to question certain entries here…

… based on their vote against DACA in the recent budget bill.  Those perhaps looking to vote them here in this list should heavily ask a question on what led them to vote for this spending bill.  I think it would be worth explaining to their potential voters.

      • Marcy Kaptur – Ohio’s 9th district
      • Rick Nolan – Minnesota 8th district
      • Beto O’Rourke – Currently Texas’ 16th district, running for senate in 2018

        22. Removing Rick Nolan as coincidentally he just announced his retirement!

I wonder if there’s any correlation with his vote here and his retirement.  Did someone offer him a good “retirement package” to vote for the budget bill?   Hmm…

Both of them show up in Wikipedia now, and I see Heaster on McCabe’s pages, and here’s a presentation that Heaster made supporting Bernie.

      21. Add Gary Trauner for Wyoming Senate seat.

Gary looks to be trying to appeal to Wyoming’s youth rather than emphasize the typical past failed “centrist” philosophy that is more anti-populist in its structure and loses elections now that it had won in helping the Koch funded DLC take over the Democratic Party during Clinton’s timeframe.

      Read more here:

      http://planetjh.com/2016/11/15/the-buzz-3-dem-distress/

and note the following significant quote from Trauner:

“Several progressives won local races, which could push Democrats in a more progressive direction. Gary Trauner, a two-time Democratic candidate for Wyoming’s sole congressional seat, cited a younger, more progressive voter turnout, which could signal creative changes and progressive policies he hopes will “put people first.” As far as the national election, Trauner said Democratic leadership was playing too much insider baseball and missed the national pulse. Clinton was the wrong candidate for this election, he said.

Others are supporting him too.  From a very good page that almost mirrors ours.  I’ve invited this blogster through a Facebook message to join our group, but not sure she’s seen it yet.

      25. Add Sanjay Patel for Florida's 8th district…

We now have a Berniecrat that definitely is running in this district and don’t have to hope that Alan Grayson runs  even if she’s filed earlier perhaps without serious intent to run there.

Endorsed by “The People for Bernie Sanders” here…
