A promise kept, but a week late.

An Argument Against Allowing Billionaires to Exist in a Society.

How different is a society with billionaires from a person with tapeworms? Both billionaires and tapeworms drain nutrition/resources from the body they live on, both block the flow of the remaining nutrition/resources through the body that is necessary for health, both lower the ability of the body to recover from sudden disruptions/catastrophe, and both will eventually be lethal to the host. Billionaires just have a better PR apparatus.

A larval tapeworm latches onto the wall of small intestine and feeds off the food the host ingests, letting the host do the work of finding, preparing, chewing and breaking the food down through digestion in the stomach. The tapeworm does nothing but exist to feed. It can grow to a length nearly as long as the intestinal tract of the host. A larval billionaire (millionaire) latches onto a healthy financial flow and feeds off that lifeblood of any given society. They let others do the work of driving, maintaining, and adding to the financial well being of a society. They simply exist to feed. They grow to incredible sizes and hide their bulk, not in an intestinal tract, but offshore in tax havens or hidden behind a ghille suit of holding companies.

As intestinal worms feed, they grow both in length and in width (even flat worms thicken) this fills the area inside an intestinal tract this slows the flow of the food the host inadvertently provided (giving the parasite more opportunity to feed) and blocks a portion of the hosts ability to get nutrition from the food they ingested, by blocking an ever growing percentage of the available surface area of the small intestine from the digested food. Tapeworms modify the host’s system to their own advantage. Similar modifications of a host system are used by billionaires. Instead of the physical channel to occupy and feed, billionaires use legal channels to guide the flow of resources through the grasp. The legal channels can be made from laws of the land or a corporation’s internal rules. An NGO’s internal rulings are decided by the billionaires themselves. Billionaire release their grip on small portions of their feedings to select persons in influential positions to make, repeal, or rewrite the laws of whatever land to force society’s resources into their fingers. One of the common tactics to start the process is to use a series of smaller illegal bribes to set up a structure to make larger legal bribery possible. As the wealthy grow larger, they progressively become a greater obstruction to the system as well as ever hungrier. The block the flow necessary for the health of the system by keeping ideas that could benefit society as a whole suppressed if they cannot be altered to feed the parasite class. Their eating of resources prevent the growth of the host, preventing the host from becoming strong enough to throw off the feeding vermin.

As exemplified by the nations inability to react to ever increasing (in frequency and ferocity) storm damage; the before mentioned strip mining of available resources, the siphoning off of relief funds, the redirection of relief efforts into profit driven organizations, and the intentional ineptitude designed to discourage relief efforts in the future, all combine to weaken a society faced with a disaster. A disaster that can only be solved by acquiescing control of the relief effort to known predators. This is an exponential increase from intestinal parasites, who only weaken a host ability to respond to other sudden dangers by eating the food a host intends for itself and dedicating in the host’s digestive tract.

An infestation of predatory capitalists will weaken unto death the body politic of any society unlucky enough to house them as assuredly as an infestation of tapeworms will kill a singular host organism. One internal parasite is one too many and our society houses over five hundred. Five hundred sixty five bloated lampreys feast on the lives of over there hundred twenty four million of us. They and their lackeys block our every effort regain control over our lives and our country. Left untreated, this infection will kill us.

    8. They don't play well with others.

    9. A perfect description of our growing financial aristocracy. Maybe I'll start

using “parasitical class” or “tapeworm class” as a synonym.

Curly asks why do you want that?
