Pablo Escobar’s Son Reveals His Dad “Worked for the CIA Selling Cocaine” — Media

Pablo Escobar’s Son Reveals His Dad “Worked for the CIA Selling Cocaine” — Media Silent
    Claire Bernish February 17, 2017

Juan Pablo Escobar Henao, son of notorious Medellín cartel drug kingpin, Pablo Escobar, now says his father “worked for the CIA.”

In a new book, “Pablo Escobar In Fraganti,” Escobar, who lives under the pseudonym, Juan Sebastián Marroquín, explains his “father worked for the CIA selling cocaine to finance the fight against Communism in Central America.”

“The drug business is very different than what we dreamed,” he continues. “What the CIA was doing was buying the controls to get the drug into their country and getting a wonderful deal.”

Notably, Marroquín added, “the person who sold the most drugs to the CIA was Pablo Escobar.”

    1. All Consistent – We Have Known For Years That The CIA Has Been Involved

America’s ‘crack’ plague has roots in Nicaragua war
    By Gary Web

FOR THE BETTER PART of a decade, a San Francisco Bay Area drug ring sold tons of cocaine to the Crips and Bloods street gangs of Los Angeles and funneled millions in drug profits to a Latin American guerrilla army run by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, a Mercury News investigation has found.

This drug network opened the first pipeline between Colombia’s cocaine cartels and the black neighborhoods of Los Angeles, a city now known as the “crack” capital of the world. The cocaine that flooded in helped spark a crack explosion in urban America and provided the cash and connections needed for L.A.’s gangs to buy automatic weapons.

It is one of the most bizarre alliances in modern history: the union of a U.S.-backed army attempting to overthrow a revolutionary socialist government and the Uzi-toting “gangstas” of Compton and South-Central Los Angeles.

    Snip …

      2. Yup, Kill the Messenger

      LuckyDog sez check it out:

Based on the true story of journalist Gary Webb. The film takes place in the mid-1990s, when Webb uncovered the CIA’s past role in importing huge amounts of cocaine into the U.S. that was aggressively sold in ghettos across the country to raise money for the Nicaraguan Contras’ rebel army. Despite enormous pressure not to, Webb chose to pursue the story and went public with his evidence, publishing the series “Dark Alliance”. As a result he experienced a vicious smear campaign fueled by the CIA. At that point Webb found himself defending his integrity, his family, and his life. Written by Milena Joy Morris

Producer Naomi Despres added: “The story Gary [Gary Webb] broke put him and his paper on the map. ‘Dark Alliance’ was one of the first investigative series to have been published simultaneously online, with bonus content, and in print. What our film shows is that the bigger newspapers were really caught off guard. They were incredulous that a smaller paper had tackled this important story, and was getting so much attention. So the mainstream journalistic establishment attacked Gary’s credibility and pressured the Mercury News, which was overwhelmed and unprepared to handle the controversy. “Gary wanted to fight back, but they didn’t want to fight back with him and he had to go it alone while still pursuing the story further. It was a choice that cost him dearly.”

        3. Ironically During The Period That Crack Exploded In America

Nancy Reagan Was Just Saying No – a convenient PR cover for the Reagan Administration.

Then during the early 90s, Clinton expanded the prison population with African American men caught up in the epidemic.

All the while the CIA and minions continue their lives as if nothing happened.

And finally toward the end of the 90s, Gary was driven to suicide since he could no longer work in journalism.

The bottom line as Americans – we have been scammed for decades as to what has and is really going on.

          4. Not so fast my friend

“You may very well think that, but I, of course, cannot comment.”  Francis Urqhuart, House of Cards, Otiginal BBC version

“Webb was found dead in his Carmichael home on December 10, 2004 with two gunshot wounds to the head. His death was ruled suicide by the Sacramento County coroner’s office.[68] After a local paper reported that he had died from multiple gunshots, the coroner’s office received so many calls asking about Webb’s death that Sacramento County Coroner Robert Lyons issued a statement confirming Webb had committed suicide.[69] When asked by local reporters about the possibility of two gunshots being a suicide, Lyons replied: “It’s unusual in a suicide case to have two shots, but it has been done in the past, and it is in fact a distinct possibility.” News coverage noted that there were widespread rumors on the Internet at the time that Webb had been killed as retribution for his ‘Dark Alliance’ series, published eight years before, but Webb’s ex-wife Susan Bell told reporters that she believed Webb had committed suicide.[69] “The way he was acting it would be hard for me to believe it was anything but suicide,” she said. According to Bell, Webb had been unhappy for some time over his inability to get a job at another major newspaper. He had sold his house the week before his death because he was unable to afford the mortgage.

After Webb’s death, a collection of his stories from before and after the “Dark Alliance” series were published. The collection, The Killing Game: Selected Stories from the Author of Dark Alliance, was edited by Webb’s son, Eric.”

Two bullets to the head.  Okey dokey, smokes.

            5. Yes – The Official Narrative Versus Practical Realities – Gary Web Had Become

An open embarrassment for many in the establishment – he knew too much.

Quite plausible that those challenged put him down.
