I guess he’s suggesting local authorities arrest them on whatever charges they can find, and the feds will ride in and help find reasons to keep them in custody, prosecute them, etc. I doubt much will come of it. Most local and state prosecutors would think twice before phonying up charges and then counting on Barr to back them up. Assuming they can identify these “antifa leaders” in the first place.

Well the FBI has the ability to track down people on the internet that are actively organizing riots. That’s not hard to do. I’d be surprised if they haven’t already put several social media accounts under surveillance. But taking them down that can be a slow process that will take place over the weeks ahead. It could involve court orders, warrants, etc..

Wanting to arrest those protesting against him. Whoever the leaders of Antifa may be, and assuming they have committed crimes, which is a big assumption in my opinion, what they have done can only be an infinitesimal fraction of the crap he’s responsible for. F Him!

Remember the file sharing program called Napster. It was easy enough to find the people who wrote the program. In court the programmers were told to shutdown the website to stop people from sharing music. When the programmers told the court the Website was shutdown, the court asked, ‘How are people still sharing the music?’ The answer was, ‘because the program does not need the Website to run, it is decentralized!’
To me, Antifa is more like an idea, a cause, anybody who is fed-up with an obvious injustice. Sure people talk to one another, but there is no organization, it is a reaction. Antifa does not show-up to a like people demonstrating against an oil pipeline. Antifa shows up when you have a right wing group protesting, or better yet, when a right wing is going to counter-protest against a left wing protest like in Charlotte.
Now the FBI knows this, other law enforcement knows this, the Trump Administration knows this. Does the American Public know this, well, some maybe. It is news junkies, historians and others in the know who know the history of Antifa starting in the 1920’s. So the Trump Administration, in awe of their own bluster are putting this out like it is a big solution. It is a smoke screen, a red herring, a bad joke on jane and joe US citizen.

Or you support it. Trump and Barr support it. Antifa is all Americans.

Isn’t “Antifa leader” an oxymoron?

folks who struggle against fascism arrested.
Barr and Trump are Nazis. Therefore, they want their enemies, all who peacefully struggle against anti-American authoritarian fascist dictatorship, arrested.
Same shit, different day. Nazis do what Nazis do, and what Nazis do is never good for children anywhere.

The truth is, there’s no such thing as being “anti-Fascist.” Either you are a decent human being with a conscience, or you are a fascist.
