New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the youngest woman ever elected to Congress, recently sat down with Anderson Cooper for an interview airing Sunday on “60 Minutes.” See the full interview at 7 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
ANDERSON COOPER: You’re willing to compromise?
ALEXANDRIA OCASIO-CORTEZ: Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely.
It’s just about what we choose to compromise.
My personal opinion, and I know that my district and my community feels this way as well, is that we as a party have compromised too much, and we’ve lost too much of who we’re supposed to be and who we are.

doing exactly what the Third Way and their donors want them to do. Same thing for “bipartisanship”. They always move things more to the right. Always.

Everything I post is just my opinion, and, honestly, I would love to be wrong.

I bet the Vichy Dems are upset that she said this much.

They show up at the negotiating table already compromised and then compromise from there. I remember shillary’s tax plan proposed raising taxes in the highest bracket by 2 or 3%, or something like that. lol. Where do you even go from there? Meanwhile, repubs always start out with these crazy wingnut positions and end up getting most of what they want. Corpodems don’t even try for the most part, but that’s a feature not a bug.
