And so it begins.

This is total trash – frankly, those involved are see through in their despicable attempts at manipulation and slander. Not going to work out as they intend.

before they have to print a retraction?

s0 people actually don’t even know where they heard the idea first, they just “know” there’s an “issue” with Sanders and women, or Sanders supporters and women, or Sanders is claimed to have the responsibility of condemning abuse in all other campaigns, or ???
it’s about language–it’s about building up an implication
and even if this is an honest effort, or started as one, it’s in the spin cycle now

This paragraph sticks out to me:
Several people who signed the letter said that their effort is not just about Sanders’ 2016 or 2020 presidential campaigns, but rather about what they called a pervasive culture of toxic masculinity in the campaign world. They stressed that they hoped their letter would not be reduced to reinforcing the “Bernie Bro” caricature, but rather would be one part of a larger reckoning among people running campaigns.
Of course there was harassment. In EVERY campaign. Bernie addressed it and took steps to improve the situation, and no doubt he will continue to do so. But let’s make some political hay anyway amirite?
Meantime Hillary had actual knowledge of harassment by an aide and chose to shield him.
Something like that would be enough to sink Bernie, but not Herself.

at least they’ve stopped trying to play nice to discourage him from running and going on the attack early instead–a good sign, I thought they’d faff around with Gillibrand and Sherrod Brown once O’Rourke was “attacked by Bernie Bros” by having his public records made public

But seek to misinform and destroy the truth.
I would like to remind you that U.S. health insurance companies do not contribute anything to health care. They are only a PARASITIC middle man receiving an undeserved cut of "FREE MONEY".
