On “Good Luck, America,” a political news show airing on Snapchat, Buttigieg took aim at Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.)—and indirectly at Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.)—for raising campaign funds mostly through small individual contributions.

“We’re not going to beat Trump with pocket change,” Buttigieg told host Peter Hamby.

The $32 million Buttigieg has raised is almost evenly split between small and large contributions, with 51 percent coming from large-dollar donations.

Both Sanders and Warren raised more than Buttigieg in the 3rd quarter of 2019, raising $25 million and $24 million, respectively, compared with Buttigieg’s $19 million.

Some on social media said Buttigieg’s disparaging comments about Warren’s and Sanders’s strategy could be seen negatively by his own potential small-dollar donors, forcing him to rely even more on large donations—the latter of which the majority of Americans believe should be limited, according to Pew Research.

Howdy Doody needs to crawl back where he came from. Crowing about how much bribe money you have received from the rich isn’t going to land you any votes.

    Showing his corporate ass.

I will not vote for a Vichy Dem. Period. As always, I decide who is a Vichy Dem.

We  aren’t going to beat him with an inexperienced empty suit who no one wants to vote for.

In 2016, HRC outraised Trump $1.2 billion to $600 million and lost the WH.  True, you need enough money to get your message out, but out raising the Republicans does not guarantee a victory if you campaign strategy sucks.

Buttigieg Denounced for Spouting ‘Pack of Lies’ About Medicare for All While Swimming in Insurance Industry Cash

    https://www.commondreams.org/news/2019/10/16/buttigieg-denounced-spouting-pack-lies-about-medicare-all-while-swimming-insurance

Alluding to Buttigieg’s claim that Medicare for All would “infringe” on Americans’ freedoms, Khanna tweeted, “Anyone on the debate stage last night who said that Medicare for All is about taking away choice is being dishonest.”

“Do they believe seniors over 65 on Medicare lack choice?” asked Khanna. “Bernie Sanders’ Medicare for All is about freedom and the pursuit of happiness.”

Amid widespread backlash, Buttigieg doubled down on his criticism of Medicare for All Wednesday by launching new Facebook ads attacking Warren for supporting the policy, which would guarantee comprehensive healthcare for everyone in the U.S. states for free at the point of service.

“Mayor Pete sounds like he’s on the payroll of the Republican National Committee,” economist and former Labor Secretary Robert Reich tweeted during Tuesday night’s debate.
