Barack Obama WRITES Bernie Sanders’ Campaign Platform

    Obama Argues:

    * A mass movement can overcome the establishment

    * That Bernie’s supporters are uniquely enthusiastic

    * That Bernie’s career is proof “things can change”

Just blows my mind when the same media guys who fawned over this in 2006 say it’s hopelessly naive in 2019.

You mean the checks? There were many more than only one issued for his services.

We are an arrogant species, believing our fantasy based "facts" are better than the other person's fake facts.

If you are wrong, it will be because you are not cynical enough.

Both major political parties are special interest groups enabling each other for power and money, at the expense of the people they no longer properly serve…

Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely… Your little problem with amnesia prohibits a proper analysis of what you’ve become, Barack. And, what an example of what not to be you’ve provided for your children.

Hell, no... I'm not giving up...

    @Mr.Mickeys Mom:

Obama was always an establishment creature, otherwise

he would have never been permitted to win. However, he

was also the best in rhetorical speeches, so that people

were fooled (like me). Since he had no long voting records

it was easy to believe him. By now we know that anyone,

who really insists on change, will be fought, dismissed or

    ridiculed.

“he had no long voting records”

but he had a history, and it didn’t say “i’m here to shake things up”

it said “i work for the establishment/intel, like the rest of my family”

Obama is a turncoat. LGBT Americans have known that since 2009. Welcome to the club.

For some of us,it took longer to see what he was up to.

I was both disappointed and angry with Obama in his first term, but I was willing to give the Democratic Party one last chance four years later. If I saw no improvement,I was going to Demexit, and I did, though not for my original reasons.

Never trusted him then, but thought he was at least better than Palin.  2nd term, Romney’s capitalism horrified me enough to vote for him again.  Also, I was already in an Underground that time, even with misgivings, it made me think he was the better option, no matter how upset I was with how he made the Bush tax-cuts permanent.

Of course, when I didn’t trust him, it was due to his voting record, and I thought he was weak.  In that manner, that was why I went with Hillary back in ’08.  Her and him were my last choice, and I was not happy then.  Just felt I had to.

Honestly, if Hillary’s campaign was not so bad, and they didn’t do the following:

    • Used Sandy Hook against Bernie
    • Made the primaries so one-sided, cheating on it, and changing DNC rules on an-as-needs basis to help Hill

I probably would still be binary voting.  The fact that they reached a level of corruption that became unacceptable to me, especially since they were excusing it, just because they liked someone, made me able to vote 3rd party.  Before then, I’d have still just looked at who I thought would do less damage.

Hillary proved herself to be more damaging, and I was NOT going to vote Trump, I ended up having no choice but to vote 3rd party, and I feel so free after that.  I don’t feel guilty any more.

:)  Thanks Obama and Hillary for shattering the illusion that the Democratic establishment were at least “trying to do the right thing”, they aren’t.
