Elizabeth Warren’s campaign is sinking, and she has only herself to blame. She can’t even blame Tulsi Gabbard for doing unto her what she did to Kamala Harris. She did this to herself. I don’t know her reasoning, whether she cut a deal with Joe Biden as Kyle Kulinski and others suspect, or whether she listened to the Hillbots and Obamaworlders whom she hired on to her campaign. I suppose it doesn’t really matter.

The bottom line is that she just alienated every real progressive voter out there and has narrowed her base to white liberal identity politics types who are despised by everybody else, but will mostly Vote Blue No Matter Who in November anyway. She may not even make the 15% threshold for delegates in any of the first four primary and caucus states. She’s going down. So whose left? Who benefits from her collapse?

Maybe a few of her people will gravitate to Amy Klobuchar and oblivion. More will probably go to Wall Street Pete, because at least he’s gay. I doubt very many will go to Joe Biden. I think, this is just a guess, but I think Bernie will pick up almost as many as the weasel from South Bend. Bernie’s already benefited from her staged poutrage, to the tune of $4 million and 25,000 new donors.

After the first four states, there will be only Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden, with Michael Bloomberg chipping away at Biden’s support with his air war. It’s time to focus all the progressive fire possible on Joe Biden, and he shouldn’t be that hard to sink for the simple reason that there’s not a single working class person or family out there who Joe Biden hasn’t screwed in one way or the other. The same can be said for most of the middle class as well. Let me count some of the ways.

Anyone who lost a home in the Great Recession has Joe Biden to thank for it. He pushed hard to repeal Glass-Steagall back in Bill Clinton’s day, and the recession would never have been as severe had that law not been reformed.

Anyone who lost anyone in Iraq, Afghanistan, Niger, or anywhere else American troops were deployed has Biden to thank for never finding a war he didn’t like. Anyone who has suffered from PTSD or other injury, or been a family member of friend of a veteran who did, has Joe Biden to thank for all of his efforts to make those wars a reality.

All of those families who had a loved one lose their job to NAFTA can thank Joe Biden for his unrelenting support of  “free trade,” more accurately known as corporate freedom to outsource. All the citizens of every city and town devastated by NAFTA and other horrendous free trade legislation, such as granting Most Favored Nation status to China, have Joe Biden to thank for crushing their locality’s tax base, for potholes and failing schools as the new normal, for their declining standard of living.

Anyone paying on massively egregious student loan debt has Joe Biden to thank for prohibiting them from filing bankruptcy and discharging it. Anyone who lives with or knows any of those folks should remember Joe’s role in that as well. Anyone who has filed bankruptcy since 2005 has Joe Biden to thank for being required to pay more both to file it in the first place and afterwards.

Don’t like high bank or credit card fees? Remember that Joe Biden loves those. He did, after all, have the well-earned nickname of the Senator from MBNA.

Anyone receiving any type of Social Security, unemployment insurance, Food Stamps, Medicaid, Medicare, or any other safety net program should remember that Joe Biden has long advocated for cutting those programs in order to balance the budget.

Anyone who cares about the habitability of the planet should remember that Joe Biden has never given a good god-damn about any of that, not really.

Anyone who was or knows anyone who was sentenced to a long prison term under Biden’s several crime bills that took away judicial discretion in sentencing has old Joe to thank for a more lengthy incarceration experience. This especially applies to Native Americans, Blacks, and Latinos.

Sick of money in politics? Sick of corrupt politicians? Then you’re sick of Joe Biden, for he’s the poster boy for such things. He’s even proud of it!

I’m sure there’s more. Please feel free to add to the list. Meanwhile, every chance you get, remind everyone you can just what a horrible politician Joe Biden is for the vast majority of Americans. Hit him. Hit him hard. Hit him repeatedly. Keep hitting him until he goes down and Bernie Sanders has the Democratic nomination to be the next President of the United States.

I think you covered most of it.

I’d only add that Sanders is the other candidate who beats Trump in the polls head to head (yea I know, but those voters do exist). Biden’s one and only selling point is that he’s the only one who does, but that’s not true; remove that advantage, and what does he have left (heh)? The Sanders campaign should be screaming this from the roof tops: “BERNIE BEATS TRUMP AND HE HAS POLICIES AND CAN SPEAK IN COMPLETE SENTENCES!!!”

Also, people should let the “Biden is a pervert” meme die the peaceful death it’s clearly destined for, and give up trying to periodically resurrect it. It’s funny and all, and yea he’s weird, but it just didn’t stick, and it’s time to accept it.

He’s responsible for Clarence Thomas being on the Supreme Court.
His civil rights record is abysmal.

@ohiobarbarian, pretty fine bon mot-slingin’!  “there’s not a single working class family out there that Joe Biden hasn’t screwed one way or another” – YES!

Destruction is easy; creation is hard, but more interesting.

Biden will lose Iowa and NH. If we beat him SC the “electability” thing falls apart.

The nice thing about Biden is you don’t have to go negative.  Better to lay out his track record, votes, old speeches and $$$$ sponsors and let the truth speak for itself.  Attacks can backfire (as we just saw) and often do. The safer route is the truth well told.

All governments lie to their citizen's, but only Americans believe theirs.
