Bernie remains the MOST popular politician in USA

    (snip)

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) is at 28 percent favorable and 34 unfavorable, with Democrats viewing him positively by a 2-to-1 margin.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (R-Calif.) posts a negative 31-47 split, but is viewed favorably by a majority of Democrats.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) remains the most popular politician in the country and is the only national figure in the poll that a majority of voters view favorably.

    1. Yet the DNC continues to dog Bernie because he won't embrace corporatism.

He’s popular because he won’t be bought you simple minded fucks!

      2. No, not simple-minded fucks – SINGLE-minded fucks, into money & power…

Simple-minded, in that it is one thought: single-minded pursuit of money and power.

Now, you’d think they’d want to win elections, to hold the actual power of the people in their hands, to dole out the country’s resources to their masters for posh favors now and secure fortunes later.¬† That’s the curious part.

The Democratic leadership has actually abandoned the political realm – except for a few token appearances.¬† The political realm is where they might have to do something for the many, or fake doing something for the many.¬† The money and the power have shifted out of the public realm into private, corporate, ‘TRADE SECRET’ code election rigging monopolies, lobbying firms, board rooms, private government contractors, Wall Street investment speculators, P.R. firms, influence peddlers, corpo-fascist media propaganda, ‘think tanks,’ posh junkets, lucrative speeches, billionaires’ yachts and private jets and “Lolita” expresses, hanging with the sheiks of Araby, tea in the Hampton’s, and so forth.

This is why the Corporate Democrats DON’T CARE that they’ve lost 1,000 elected public offices over recent election cycles.¬† Their attitude is, ‘Let Diebold* s/elect whoever they want to – our nests are gold-feathered and comfy by just pretending to seek public office.¬† Anyone can let corporations and billionaires write the laws.¬† Let the Republicans do it for now.¬† We’ll fill in later, if our masters want.¬† And we can have some fun pretending to undo all their harm.¬† Har-har!’

That’s not simple-minded.¬† It’s two-faced with a single purpose:¬† money/power.¬† They take their cue from Hillary – lazy, incompetent campaigns, blowing off virtually all voters and ignoring everybody but their donors and the election riggers.¬† Plenty of time for $250,000 speeches to Wall Street groups; no time for the People.¬† And if the election riggers go “thumbs down” on Democrats, they’re good with that.¬† They’re on call to serve when the Plutocrats have finished the Great Looting.¬† Then they’ll come back as our “saviors” and give us back nothing of what was taken, because that is “unicorns and ponies.”

That takes more than a simple mind.¬† That takes the Devil’s mind, actually – every layer of devious imaginable.

      – – – – –

*(Diebold and ES&S melded and formed “Dominion” – an election theft corporation with a name that is true to the far rightwing roots of Diebold and ES&S.)
