      During the Democratic primary, Senator Bernie Sanders campaigned on doing just this thing, appointing a vice president who would ignore the parliamentarian and the Byrd Rule, while also saying he opposed nuking the filibuster. He even made the case during the September 12, 2019 debate.

      I knew Sanders was against removing the filibuster during the campaign but I didn’t know that part about the VP.

      …how the Senate “works” regardless of who’s in power AND wants to change it so it actually works for we the people.

      The Byrd rule, the Hyde amendment, etc. Tell me how we are better than a feudal monarchy!
