      Bernie Sanders’ campaign says it raised $46.5 million in February, a staggering influx that leaves the Vermont senator flush with cash as he tries to build his presidential primary delegate lead.

      The Sanders campaign also announced Sunday that it will buy TV ads in nine states that hold primaries later this month. They are Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio and Washington.

      The Sanders campaign said it is already running TV ads in 12 of the 14 states voting this week on Super Tuesday. Strong performances in California and Texas, which award the most delegates on that day, will be critical for Sanders’ push to secure the majority of delegates needed to win the nomination.

      I donated at the beginning of Feb and then I moved my Mar donation ahead so he could use it on Mar 3. At the end of Mar I will see what I have left and donate more if I can. Come on Super Tuesday states don’t disappoint us.

      @caliny

      Hi caliny,

      Despite being broke and unemployed, pennies were counted, nickels stacked and dimes sorted for two $ 27 contributions in February.

      With good will and intentions for Bernie and crew, maybe it will help.

        @thouartthat I am far more impressed with someone like you giving $27 than my friend who inherited a small fortune who brags about giving $50 a month.

        I signed up for $20.20 a month recurring months ago, and will just keep that up. I’ll send in more if we don’t need it for anything else, but that is a rare event.

      That would be incredibly refreshing. One can hardly turn on the TV or start a YouTube video here without seeing that smug, predatory plutocrat’s face.

      On Facebook, Twitter, etc, though, Bernie is dominating here. I’ve seen only a few bumper stickers for any candidates at all, but all but one were Bernie 2020 ones.

        ( Well I’ve always hated it ) but even the clueless neolibs I work with, and who take up with the dem establishment call TV “The Bloomberg Show” ( a take on ‘The Truman Show ). The slick, polished delivery of trying to grease a slimy plutocrat through makes my skin crawl more than a cavalcade of Trumpisms.

        I take great pleasure in knowing that sliding 27 clams here and there are collectively rendering Bloomie’s wallet null and void.

      Bloomberg spent five times that amount for 11% polls.

      We really do need to take the money out of politics.
