(CNN)Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders plans to introduce his new “Medicare for All” bill Wednesday morning, a move that will again push health care policy to the front burner of the Democratic presidential primary.

The new legislation’s big-name co-sponsors include four of Sanders’ fellow 2020 Democratic contenders — Sens. Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker and Kirsten Gillibrand — all of whom also signed onto an earlier version Sanders put out in 2017.
By unveiling his proposal now, Sanders is effectively doubling down on his signature policy idea and betting that his calls to eliminate private medical insurers will be a winning one with Democratic voters, even as the party rallies around Obamacare amid an escalating court battle instigated by Republicans and backed by President Donald Trump.

The new legislation will update Sanders’ 2017 bill, adding provisions to broaden its scope and potentially offer new details on Sanders’ plans to pay for a program that could virtually wipe out the private insurance industry. More than 150 million Americans are currently covered by private insurance through their employers and tens of millions more through Medicare Advantage. I don’t think the idiots on the left know what they are talking about. Save the ACA? Make me laugh. The ACA is NOT healthcare. It’s catastrophic care. You really can’t use it unless you have a catastrophe. And if you do use it, deductibles are out of bounds for most people.  IE: You get hurt pretty bad in an accident that wasn’t your fault. It don’t matter. You pay that deductible(7K in my case), and sue later. Collection agencies could care less what your issues are.

I do not understand why we are spinning our wheels over something that was so-so and temporary, expecting it to hold up forever, and still screwing the average American. Why would you want to keep that type of policy?

Hey I was on it for 5 years, and cant wait to get off of it.  I get on Medicare this year and I can’t wait to get all the things fixed I should have when I had the ACA. Yeah, that’s right. I have to wait until Medicare is implemented for me to get these issues addressed. It’s ridiculous.

The ACA? Its only good for 2 things. A). Wellness visits. B). If you have a catastrophe, you might still be able to keep your house. There are no guarantees. You will STILL have to pay the outrageously high deductible, which most cannot do.

I think the establishment dems are just pissed that they didn’t think of Medicare for all. (J/K) Not really. They really are that stupid.

I will be a Bernie supporter FOREVER. This whole thing with Bernie and his people oriented policies were meant to be introduced in this day and age!! Many have tried and failed in the past. Succeeding was almost impossible. It's kind of a gimme in today's corrupt 2 party system that you have to work within. Just look how things have changed in the past 8 years from Bernie's policies. It was meant to be. Wait it out. Change will come. Thank you Bernie for all you've done. You are a truly amazing person.
