The 2020 presidential election is Senator Bernie Sanders’ race to lose, according to a new survey of more than a dozen top Democratic strategists.
By Nicole Goodkind On 11/24/17 at 1:50 PM
The survey, conducted by The Hill, reveals a Democratic field crowded with old faces. At a time when the party could use some fresh blood, most contenders for commander-in-chief have been around for decades. Sanders, who will be 79 years old in 2020, currently leads the pack.
“His people have never gone away,” Democratic strategist Brad Bannon told The Hill. “And he has a loyal core following out there that will be with him come hell or high water.” Sanders is the most popular politician in America, with an approval rating of 75 percent, according to a recent Harvard-Harris poll.

I fear this just makes him a bigger target than Trump, to the DNC.
To be fair, the DNC is a bigger target than Trump, to me.

Besides, this article came out literally a month ago, and I think someone posted it on 2.0. This story and others like it on places like the Hill and Politico are why the Vichy Dems started desperately promoting Beto just a few weeks ago. I think he is, in effect, a trial balloon for them, which makes Beto something of sucker, yes?
He is being met with so much opposition so quickly and from such a wide variety of informed political people that I’m sure the DNC types feel shock and dismay. They’ll learn some lessons, as usual the wrong ones, and apply them to promoting someone like Kamala Harris next.
I look forward to the salvos she will receive.

Voting for Bernie is a sure way to get rid of the Better Deal Maker of the House whose time will be ended and the many of the better deal cronies. AOC already got rid of Joe Crowley. And AOC will bring in the Green New Deal to the House. :fistbump:

I’m still meditating that Bernie goes 3rd party. If he does, he should get the nomination. Fingers crossed.
