Beto O’Rourke FREQUENTLY VOTED for Republican Legislation, Analysis Reveals

“…Review of his six-year record in Congress shows Democrat frequently opposed own party, and supported bills that boosted the fossil fuel industry and Trump’s immigration policy…”

Clinton bootlicker Neera Tanden and her gang of trolls n’ bots are hard at work using media and faux news trying to push this establishment Corpo-faux-Dem onto the party (before the word gets out), that his voting records show he supported the profit-driven interests of the fossil fuel industry. This guy is NO better than Heitkamp, Manchin, Donnelly or Sinema…….Medicare-For-All and other progressive initiatives will be nowhere to be found on the horizon with this guy……he is what he is, another clever establishment orator with a republican stripe trying to game the political system and hearts of voters, making them believe (like Obama) that ‘Hope & Change’ has finally arrived………well, it hasn’t and his own record speaks for itself!

Oh yea….forgot this one last point……FECK BETO!

      -snip-

“…A.new analysis of congressional votes from the non-profit news organisation Capital & Main shows that even as O’Rourke represented one of the most solidly Democratic congressional districts in the United States, he has frequently voted against the majority of House Democrats in support of Republican bills and Trump administration priorities. Capital & Main reviewed the 167 votes O’Rourke has cast in the House in opposition to the majority of his own party during his six-year tenure in Congress. Many of those votes were not progressive dissents alongside other left-leaning lawmakers, but instead votes to help pass Republican-sponsored legislation.

O’Rourke has voted for GOP bills that his fellow Democratic lawmakers said reinforced Republicans’ anti-tax ideology, chipped away at the Affordable Care Act (ACA), weakened Wall Street regulations, boosted the fossil fuel industry and bolstered Donald Trump’s immigration policy. Consumer, environmental, public health and civil rights organizations have cast legislation backed by O’Rourke as aiding big banks, undermining the fight against climate change and supporting Trump’s anti-immigrant agenda. During the previous administration, Barack Obama’s White House issued statements slamming two GOP bills backed by the 46-year-old Democratic legislator.

O’Rourke’s votes for Republican legislation – which at times put him at odds with a majority of Texas Democratic lawmakers in Congress – underscore his membership in the New Democrat Coalition, the faction of House Democrats most closely aligned with business interests. O’Rourke did not respond to questions from Capital & Main about his votes….”

I am going to have friends in Texas very upset at me for bursting their Beto bubble. Of course, they are the same people who were upset at me for being prematurely anti-Obama in 2009.

I’ll bet $ to donuts that he often supported pro bank legislation as well. Oh, yep there it is in the OP.

……if they can’t face facts regarding Beto, then there’s nothing more you can do but continue making balanced decisions on candidates that best represent & reflect yours and your family’s best interests……can’t force them to drink if they’re not thirsty………..RoseAnn DeMoro joins in on this discussion…

“…Bernie’s base never bought in. There is so much in this story. that any progressive would be embarrassed. But unlike progressives, Beto says he is NOT a progressive. So again, BERNIE 2020!…”
