Former Vice President Joe Biden on Thursday said that 10 to 15 percent of “people out there that are just not very good people.”
Speaking during a virtual town hall with young Americans, Biden discussed the importance of a president setting an example for the country on issues of race during a conversation moderated by actor Don Cheadle.
Biden accused President Trump of dividing the nation, saying “The words a president says matter, so when a president stands up and divides people all the time, you’re going to get the worst of us to come out.”
“Do we really think this is as good as we can be as a nation? I don’t think the vast majority of people think that,” the former vice president added. “There are probably anywhere from 10 to 15 percent of the people out there that are just not very good people, but that’s not who we are. The vast majority of the people are decent, and we have to appeal to that and we have to unite people — bring them together. Bring them together.”
Well, Joe, you have certainly worked with some ‘not very good people’. They are your mentors and friends.

You can be sure that 95% of the MSM, primarily controlled by Oligarch, will endorse him in the 2020 elections. Those oligarchs are primarily the “not very good people” Joe.

Biden is making Trump’s base truly unswayable. Trump would have to emulate that movie moment of holding up a small child to shield himself from a sniper, in order to lose those votes.
It really will come down to swing voters in swing states, and the Democratic establishment insists on nominating a doddering fool who has one of the worst records in regards trade with China, and who panders to those who want to ban all weapons (he said he’d appoint Beto to go and take all assault rifles). Sales of ammo and guns are climbing hard in those swing states.
Sanders could win those voters, Biden can’t, and that makes it a harder nut to crack to win those states. God help Biden if the swing voters he hasn’t yet pissed off smoke weed, or need Medicare for all, because Biden has said he’d veto bills to legalize pot, and give us Medicare for all.
Trump can lose California and New York in a landslide, and have a lower percentage of the popular vote than he did in 2016, and yet still win if Biden continues to alienate swing voters in swing states. And it would be Bernie’s fault that he was more popular than Biden among those voters, the ones who couldn’t vote in the Democratic primaries, and could have won the Presidency. Him and his damn Bernie Bros will be to blame for making Joe senile, and saying idiotic things, same as they were to blame for Clinton’s speaking fees to Wall Street, her illegal email system, and calling Trump leaning low income voters “deplorables”.
It would be insanity squared among the establishment if Biden lost because, like Clinton, he was less likable than Sanders.
But hey, the way things are going there’s a decent chance that neither Trump or Biden will head their respective tickets, and wouldn’t that be amazing.

He has no trump card for that.
Maybe a third party candidate does have a chance at winning the Presidency, unless the DNC allows Biden/Bernie.

A very stupid thing to say. Talking out of both sides of his mouth. We need to be united, yada yada, but a hefty percentage are “bad people” so maybe that’s not possible. Not sure what he’s trying to say,but he doesn’t either. Biden, like Trump, has no filter. This is truly a race to the bottom.

and he can’t seem to say anything in public without saying something stupid. His last speech at the church resulted in “shoot ’em in the leg, not the heart” and that was maybe two days earlier. There’s a long list any time he talks without a teleprompter. And sometimes with the teleprompter too . . .

Thanks Nixon, and Reagan, and both Bushes, and Clinton, and Obama, and all the other “leaders” who’ve led us to Hell. Congratulations Joe, you’re standing on the shoulders of some real giants. Now do us all a favor and quit drooling or the Demo… fascists will replace you with someone with a brain who’s just as evil.
