Joe Biden, the presumptive United States Democratic presidential nominee, said on Wednesday that if he was elected, he would keep the US embassy in Israel in Jerusalem even though he does not agree with the context in which US President Donald Trump moved it there from Tel Aviv.

“It should not have been moved,” the former vice president said in response to a question asked during a virtual fundraiser with supporters in the Boston, Massachusetts area.

“The move shouldn’t have happened in the context as it did, it should happen in the context of a larger deal to help us achieve important concessions for peace in the process,” Biden added.

moving the embassy was wrong but expensive, a better leader would make that site the embassy to israel and palestine, and convene permanent peace talks there.

There is no reason to even make this statement right now – unless he is flirting with AIPAC for donations.  What is going on there is not two-sided anymore, if it ever truly was.  The Israeli government is engaging in genocide, slowly, but surely, the Palestinian people will cease to exist.

The U.S. babbles about peace – if our government wanted a peaceful solution they would not be funding the Israeli military while cutting and blocking aid to Gaza.  Biden, like most politicians, is apparently eager to show what a sycophantic twat he really is.

Want a peaceful solution?  Withhold all aid and funding until a two state agreement is reached.  Otherwise, their babble about peace is just babble.
