This Bernie voter to Biden: Never. Ever. Ever. I don’t vote for Republicans. And as far as a VP is concerned, expect a Klobuchar type. Will not help. Berners need to stick together and send a message to Vichy Joe. Forget it. You’re on your own.

There ya go. That’s their message. Isn’t that enough for you, @JonLP? Gee, you must be a Bernie bro, or just an entitled millennial who’s never satisfied. Or maybe you’re a self-loathing female who doesn’t know what’s good for her. I mean, look at all they’ve done for us! Now, I can’t find a list anywhere; but I’ve heard from a couple of (now-unfriended) FB acquaintances that Joe is the way to Go! And anyone who says otherwise is a loser. Don’t you wanna be one of the cool kids, Jon? Come on. Give it a try….

Anyway, they can fuck off. Meanwhile, I will do what I can to destroy their precious Democrat Party. Yes, I spelled it wrong, just to piss them off.

After spending the last several months accusing Bernie supporters of being everything from Russian Commie Agents to deliberate spreaders of the coronavirus to actual terrorists, now they want their Kumbaya singalong moment behind a pathetic shell of a candidate who wouldn’t even remember the lyrics.

Yeah… I’ll get right on that. The day after I open a ski resort on Beelzebub Mountain.

No Trump supporters, no Third Way New Democrat sycophants.

Life is so much more rewarding when I don’t have to deal with stupid people, especially those who chronically vote against their own interests, and then wonder why their lives totally suck.

No vote for a Democrat unless that Democrat is Bernie.  And I would join a new party in a heartbeat.

Oh, and to those who keep tediously going on about how the Green Party, for example, does not do well – that is not really the fucking point.  You know that.  If you are trying to appeal to the beat Trump at any cost crowd and/or the Democrats must win crowd – nope.  Fuck off.  A whole bunch of us left that tent.

      …that my position has changed?

I want my planet to be better off from corporate created wars not worse off. Neither Trump nor Biden truly offers help here.

I want the children and all of the citizenry of this country to enjoy the same medical benefits that I as a 100% disabled vet get. Neither Trump nor Biden offer any help there either.

I want the citizens of this planet to witness U.S. leadership in the war against climate change. Neither Trump or Biden give a rats ass about climate change.

There are many more policies that neither Trump or Biden are interested in that will help the citizenry-policies that I am very interested in.

So tell me why I should vote for either of these two corporate losers?

I did not vote for Hillary or Trump. You bastards did no better than to replace Hillary with Biden and you will do no better with my vote.

But you knew that was the plan all along now wasn’t it.

My prediction: Trump beats Biden in a landslide, the Vichy Dems retain the House and the Repubs retain the Senate. This way the House keeps distracting us about something Trump supposedly did and after two years of trials the Senate will tell the House where it can stick its findings.

In the meanwhile, the earth circles the toilet bowl with the U.S. leading the way.

      Nuff Said.

Long lasting significant social change anywhere in the world in which TPTB gave it up honestly without violence. Please list them:

Yet here we are discussing voting amidst election thieves. Do you see gerrymanders going to jail? Voter intimidators going with them? Fully functional voting places? What about companies that don’t say where your dollars go so you can boycott the pricks. We pay at the pump. Extra $ goes to political puppets who then give billions in subsidies to the tax dodgers who dont deserve or even request it. IIt just starves the government from funding needy causes.

My plea is for everyone to vote no matter what.  By staying on the sidelines, it allows you to be dismissed.

Vote 3rd Party or Write-In, it is important for these folks to see how many active participants are there that don’t want to deal with either party any more.

Otherwise, ceding that voice means you are dismissed and someone they are not going to try to deal with.

Stating that, if Biden gets it, or some other corpo-stooge is placed, I will be writing in this year.  This decision is far earlier than 2016 where I hemmed and hawed to figure out what I was going to do.

I can still vote for a Democrat, but the list of them have gotten less and less as we go.

They can not, and will not guilt-trip me to go vote-blue-no-matter-who, since they themselves don’t do that.  Think about it, I live in Maryland, and I am still under Larry Hogan, who scores of Democrats voted for, rather than the NAACP guy Ben Jealous.

They never practice what they preach, and I do not need to listen to them hypocrites.

      I think he's right.

No! Biden is a republican, and the dnc wanted the center right vote, giving up on anything left. Good luck with that plan! If the impeachment senate vote didnt give you a clue as to what the right thinks of the dems, nothing will. You are blinded and perverted by money, and everything I am not. You just keep on going republican, and keep on losing elections. Im done with you

I couldn’t stand you during the Thomas/Hill hearings, or as a senator to the right of Third Way Bill Clinton, as a craven ass kissing war monger during the Bush/Cheney reign of terror, as a bootlicking corporate shill under President Speeches and Lectures, and now as the only candidate worse than Hillary Clinton, forced on the electorate by your endlessly corrupt party! Do you think any real progressive will vote for you? GTFOH! I’m voting for Bernie Tuesday, and I am done with this party at all levels, and it isn’t even a hard decision.

      Feel the Hate

      by Paul Street

      (Snip)

Don’t Forget the Hate – and Return It

But don’t forget the hate – the sheer unmitigated contempt that elite corporate Democrats from the Clintons on down feel for progressives in the ranks of “their” party, and indeed for anyone who challenges their superior wisdom and right to rule. As Ron Fournier noted in The Atlantic last February, “there has always been a [dark] side of the Clintons. They can’t fathom why anybody would challenge their motives, doubt their veracity, or criticize their policies. The Clintons’ self-conceptions are yoked to their sense of public service and joint commitment to making lives better—and they believe their ends justify their means…If you’re not for them, you’re not just an opponent—you’re beneath contempt.”

(Making lives better? As the economist Robert Pollin noted in the progressive Democratic journal The Nation earlier this year: “Clintonomics was a disaster for most Americans…Under Bill Clinton, Wall Street created a ruinous bubble, while workers lost wages and power… Bill Clinton’s presidency accomplished almost nothing to improve conditions for working people and the poor on a sustained basis. Gestures to the poor and working class were slight and back-handed, while wages for the majority remained below their level of a generation prior. Wealth at the top exploded with the Wall Street bubble. But the stratospheric rise in stock prices and the debt-financed consumption and investment booms produced a mortgaged legacy. The financial unraveling began even as Clinton was basking in praise for his economic stewardship.”)

I sensed the hate – and left the Democratic Party – decades ago. I wouldn’t vote for a “right-wing fanatic” (Arun Gupta) like Hillary Clinton – an arch-imperial war-mongering enemy of workers and friend of Wall Street – for less than $ 225,000 (the price of just one of Hillary’s Goldman Sachs speeches in 2013), four-fifths of which I would give away to radical working class and environmentalist activists. Personally, I recommend that young Sanders supporters return the contempt and refuse to act on Sanders’ forthcoming call for them to play the game of Lesser Evils. That toxic, viciously circular, and self-fulfilling game is part of how to we got in current big tangle of a situation wherein the top 1 percent owns more than 90 percent of the nation’s wealth along with most of government and the media while their soulless and cancerous profits system (capitalism) pushes humans and other living things over the edge of economic, military, authoritarian, racist, sexist and (last but not least) ecological catastrophe. “If voting changed anything,” the great American anarchist Emma Goldman once said, “they’d make it illegal.”

That said, there’s nothing wrong with lodging a Left protest vote, without electoral illusion, beyond the Democrats and Republicans, once aptly described by Upton Sinclair as “two wings of the same bird of prey.” Walk into that “coffin of class consciousness” (Alan Dawley) called the American voting booth and vote as if it might give life, not death (it would take a major and overdue Constitutional overhaul for that to happen) if you want. Be my guest. It takes all of two minutes. Then walk back out and turn to the real and more urgent politics of radical grassroots movement-building and revolutionary disruption. That’s every day work. One thing is clear: we will not vote ourselves out of this mess. You can take that to the bank.
