Says he would turn it down. How magnanimous of him. The plot thickens as he also says he’s opposed to an all white ticket, regardless of gender. Depending on how things turn out, the convention could wind up a multiple-vehicle pile up of identity politics. Interesting times…

Booker was a highly-searched candidate in the south after the debates last night. I guessed it was southern black voters familiarizing themselves with the Northern/NJ Booker.
My gut says Booker or his backers are attempting to split the black vote, in preparation for sending the convention to a 2nd ballot.
oh what a tangled web…

any split would be with Harris and Biden, and I’ve already predicted Harris would be hurt most by the deputies’ badges she gave a fake Prince Hall Masonic lodge (the one where you pay assloads of money and get a fake “get out of speeding tickets card”)
Masonic regularity is actually rather a big deal among AAs in the South

people likely to get the black vote would be biden (if we can believe that being obama’s vp is enough), harris (if we can believe black voters will ignore her record in CA), booker (who doesn’t have any specifically anti-black actions that i can think of, & sanders. that’s a big split of an important voting segment.

I feel much better since I gave up hope.

Cory Booker pledged that he would turn down a potential vice presidential nod if Democrats nominated a man to take on Donald Trump in 2020, citing the need for gender and racial diversity on all future White House tickets.
Identity politics is why Donald Trump is going to win again.
