        @charles

        I believe Bernie still needs an ‘outside-the-box’ game-changing announcement leading to Tuesday’s election………a woman of color VP announcement (besides Warren) with stellar presidential presence and highly respected within the AA community is the ticket I’m looking for as a ‘game changer’….

      Maybe I’m wrong, feel free to holler at me. But I think here in Michigan we got this, and of course it’s great that Rev. Jackson came forward. I’m just wondering if the timing might have been….miscalculated? I dunno, just thinking out loud.

      Either way, we’re working our butts off here in Detroit and all over the Great Lakes State. LET’S GO PEOPLE

        @kentankerous

        After all, Jackson was born in South Carolina. I realize he’s been a fixture in Chicago-area politics for ages, so I don’t know whether he burned any bridges in his native state.

        As many will recall, Bernie endorsed Jesse’s 1988 Presidential campaign, and if you look at the platform for that campaign, you’ll notice some familiar planks, including a call for single-payer health care and WPA-type organization to help rebuild the country’s already crumbling infrastructure.

      Rev. Jackson has returned to the light.

      The truth is, there’s no such thing as being “anti-Fascist.” Either you are a decent human being with a conscience, or you are a fascist.
