Well, not exactly clean, but zero emissions. A nuclear powered cruise ship would hold all its emissions inside, delaying by several years the day of reckoning for the waste. I’m curious about how the promoters of this idea think they would turn a profit, considering that a nuclear powered cruise ship would cost billions of dollars to build. Oh, well. I’m sure the government will come to the rescue.

Then we could actually have clean energy. Or, we could just ship the waste to Ukraine… or Somali… or Taiwan. Or. Ars, for that matter. Put that Space Force to work.

The pirates would probably ship it back.

It has been a long standing dream to develop a cheap, environmentally friendly way to pack up hazardous waste and shoot it into the sun. The problem with shooting things into space now is that the environmental damage outweighs the benefit of eliminating the waste. OK, William Shatner might be the exception, but we brought him back.

“This expedition cruise ship, with a passenger capacity of 60, would be able to explore environmentally fragile areas with minimal impact.

My solution involves *not* “exploring” (aka looking for resources/valuables to hoover up/people or countries to threaten) “environmentally fragile” areas, ever. Best of all: just stay home you gluttonous perverts.

And anyone who thinks this giant atomic cruise ship/charging station and it’s only slightly smaller pod ship are an environmental alternative to regular ships is delusional.

Crew of 60?  These days there’s only a crew of *one* on most trains, cause *capitalism* you know…more enviro to dry and burn their own poop for biofuel…
