Italians. Fredo Corleone is a character in “The Godfather” films.
“Chris Cuomo defended himself when he was verbally attacked with the use of an ethnic slur in an orchestrated setup,” CNN spokesman Matt Dornic said in a Monday statement on Twitter. “We completely support him.”
The video, which began circulating widely on social media and YouTube on Monday night, captured Cuomo growing agitated and ultimately threatening violence after an unidentified man approaches him in public and apparently calls him “Fredo.” The man tells Cuomo he “thought it was your name,” referring to “Fredo,” although the beginning of the confrontation isn’t captured and the man can’t be heard calling him the name. It’s unclear when or where the video was taken.

Chris Cuomo is soooooo full of shit!! Calling him ‘Fredo’ is not an Italian slur equal to using the term n—er……
When someone thinks of Fredo from the movie, they don’t think of a mean, Italian gangster……they think of a family f*ckup, a moron.
Chris can’t have it both ways if he truly believes the term is a slur. Then why did Chris give Ana Navarro a pass using the term ‘Fredo’ on his show without protesting its usage as a slur?
Well, this seems just a bit hypocritical. CNN host Chris Cuomo expresses no outrage, let alone a reaction when his guest Ana Navarro referred to Donald Trump Jr. as “Fredo” from the movie The Godfather on his own show earlier this year.pic.twitter.com/RytA1VLxj8

It’s getting funnier all the time. :)
Lol, so it’s like how it’s OK when we say to it each other? He’s already catching it over the comparison to the N-word, so this is breaking down to him just being a tool.
He is the establishment, every bit as much as Maddow and Clinton, and he and his allies are part of the reason why we have Forever Wars, and we can’t elect politicians who’ll change that.
The math is beyond me, but my hunch is that it works out to that Cuomo embarrassing himself means CNN has a tougher time smearing Gabbard, Sanders, and their supporters.
“Oh my God, a Bernie-bros raised a chair over his head, and another one was yelling!” just doesn’t cut it like it used to. ;)

Aww…someone looks like they need attention.
For crying out loud! It’s a tempest in a teapot. Not even a blip on the microaggression radar detector. Just Cuomo desperate for some ratings. Surprised CNN tolerates such behavior.

Eww Cuomo acting up in that video… Thought I was watching some Jersey Shore Guido type reality show with all those F words coming out of his mouth. Chris Cuomo is a walking stereotype who makes my skin crawl. He needs to fuck off.

From the updated, basically new, article:
YouTube said in a statement that the video was removed on accident. The company did not immediately respond to questions about when the video was inaccessible and why it was flagged.
“With the massive volume of videos on our site, sometimes we make the wrong call. When it’s brought to our attention that a video has been removed mistakenly, we act quickly to reinstate it,” YouTube said in its statement. “We also offer uploaders the ability to appeal removals and we will re-review the content.”
Ironically, this frames the video as being so damaging to Cuomo that it needed to be suppressed.

Fucking foul-mouthed shit-eater pussy.
Hey! It;s cool. I’m not a mouthpiece on ‘the most trusted name in news’, CNN. I can say stuff like I just did. The old-folks who watch that crap probably won’t see Chris quite the same after this.

I’ll bet Cuomo is on Testosterone-boosters.

My thought exactly. I occasionally see guys at the gym who act out in a similar, though far less disruptive fashion, and they’re obviously on the stuff.
Lots of guys think that the prescription T, which is identical to what the body produces, can’t have a downside. Same thing for supplementing with thyroid. Then the liver panels and other tests come back, and wow what a nasty awakening when their doctor won’t write such strong prescriptions anymore.
Doctors were operating like it was the Wild West, ten to twenty years ago, writing prescriptions for powerful stuff to anyone who didn’t fit the mold of a traditional drug addict. So many guys had prescriptions for opiates, testosterone, thyroid, Viagra, anti-depressants, and statins, as many doctors were following the principle of “as long as writing a prescription is plausible”. They’d rake in the cash from the office visits and incentives from the pharma companies, and word of mouth saw their business increase. Other doctors noticed, and they too developed “a strong right arm” and started writing more prescriptions.
People are freaking out now as the rebound is having its affect, and doctors are now much more closely monitored, and they’re scared to prescribe the large amounts of pain killers that those genuinely in a lot of pain actually need.
Chinese fentanyl is still a penny per dose, so many in pain have turned to bargain bags of heroin that are laced with it.
Anyway, yeah, Cuomo was like some roid raged gym rat, and I see he likes to post pics and videos of himself showing his prowess.
He might not be on anything, and it’s all attributable to his entitled attitude. Guys do drugs so they can feel as powerful as elitist pricks, so it can be hard to tell the difference.

Lol, the WaPo changed the article’s title to make it better click bait. Recycle everything!
It’s now “Trump blasts CNN’s Chris Cuomo over video threatening man who called him ‘Fredo’”

Let’s assume for a moment that “Fredo” is the most offensive epithet imaginable.
Even if it were, that gives Cuomo no right to threaten some dude with bodily harm.
In fact, what Cuomo did clearly fits the legal definition of assault:
An assault is carried out by a threat of bodily harm coupled with an apparent, present ability to cause the harm. It is both a crime and a tort and, therefore, may result in either criminal or civil liability.
