You are a child of the Universe, no less than the trees and the stars. You have a right to be here.

I was thinking that perhaps those who designed the layout are significantly younger that I am…or at least their eyes are. 🙂
It might also make it a bit easier to scan the Home page if the line spacing were less than the paragraph spacing. But again, with my old eyes, one line frequently blurs into the next.

Thanks for bringing that up, as I may have not done so, thinking it was “just me”.

The complaint was raised and ignored on JPR 2 also.
3/4 of a century old eyes, cataracts and stiff lenses make the words a bit hard to make out sometimes.Adjusting the browser for larger fonts is just an unnecessary stop gap. I don’t have this problem on most other web sites I visit… And none I visit regularly.
Also while I am on this subject, can the verbiage in the menu in the blue header at the top of the page be made white? It would help make the navigation a bit. A couple of font sizes bigger would help too.

Not as bold as the header line in messages, just a little darker than it is now. A little more contrast is sometimes needed by the post-60 crowd.
Thank you!

I would add also – increase font size in the message and decrease in paragraph spacing. Seems to be a double space between lines without a paragraph break, and triple spacing when the enter key is used.
