who is the kool-aid drinker?  The data is unmistakable.  The most vaccinated countries in Europe are seeing the highest increases in Covid cases.  Data is from CDC.

Simply tying one set of data to another proves nothing.

A variety of possibilities (assuming the vax to surge data is true…):

Countries which vaccinate more test more
Countries which are most vulnerable to outbreak vaccinate more
Countries which don’t vaccinate are not tracking or are lying about their numbers
Areas with high vaccination rates re-opened based on those vaccination rates
      …many others

We know that the US is lying about the number of Covid deaths, understating them by about 40% according to data modeling.

He is 100% correct about the neocons being owned by Israel, to the point he is falsely accused of being antisemite.
But he is also the brains behind Reagan’s trickle down economics.

He correctly understands 9-11 was a neocon job carried out with help from Israel.
Yet he believes in holocaust deniers.

He realizes the CIA was behind the assassinations of JFK, RFK, and MLK, but he denies that racism is a driving force in politics.

It’s amazing how he sees the truth of so much but then gets so much wrong.

disinformation.  Ooooh!  Except for Covid stuff!  We totally trust government Covid numbers!!!!!!!  I doubt that there are really ANY trustworthy covid numbers from anybody, at this point.  From either “side” and it really is disgusting that there has to be political sides.   I will just wear a mask and mostly stay home.  Also, and this CSMU – I think Biden is as MAGA as anyone.  Just going about it with more bombs and such.  Two evils on the ballot.  As usual.

Yeah, djean, it kills me, everyone here knows the govt lies constantly, but not about covid i guess. I really, truly thought we might be a special bunch at jpr but alas, unsound logic, and aggressive, emotional dipshittery has befallen many here. I think some havve tsken the vaccine and are frightened they might have made a mistake and so lash out

Logic and critical thinking about this pandemic, seems to escape some here.
Some apply their own personal experience with COVID-19 to everyone else, when with over 625,808 deaths and climbing, in this country alone, that we know of, so that obviously can’t be the case.
There is so much misinformation, some put out by the pharmaceuticals themselves, that is is hard and getting harder to separate factual facts from the spun fake facts.
No wonder confusion reins across the country and even here on JPR.

VOVID-19 is a respiratory disease, therefor they should never have lifted the mask mandate. Properly worn masks work. Unmasked people, vaccinated or not, crowded together in bars, restaurants, churches, theaters, etc., are still spreading the virus. All it takes is one infected person. The viral load is an important part here and is mostly being ignored in the break through infections.
The experimental vaccines all mostly work and are effective in keeping people out of the hospital and off the ventilator. But all the do is lessen the symptoms. None provide full immunity. Not even if you have recovered from an infection. Too many people are acting like they are immune after being vaccinated. Very few actually are.

We are an arrogant species, believing our fantasy based "facts" are better than the other person's fake facts.
If you are wrong, it will be because you are not cynical enough.
The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.
Always wear a proper mask when out and about. The life you save could be both yours and mine.

but then why is Bill Gates funding injectable  ivormectin? (answer: it can be patented, but it’s only worth it if the vaccines don’t work as well as touted – perhaps against an epsilon variant?)

      https://www.cnbc.com/2021/07/08/covid-vaccines-nearly-all-deaths-hospitalizations-among-unvaccinated.html

“Virtually all Covid-19 hospitalizations and deaths in United States are now occurring among unvaccinated individuals,” White House coronavirus response coordinator Jeff Zients said at a press briefing. He said cases will continue to rise, especially among unvaccinated people, particularly as the delta variant takes hold in the US.

We know the White House lies, has always lied.   Perhaps confirmation bias is at play amongst those who know this, but find it useful to believe the White House on some things, but not others.

Once one is vaccinated, one will not even be a carrier for the specific strain of the virus one is vaccinated against. It’s true with influenza vaccines as well. Covid is a common cold coronavirus. Like the flu, coronaviruses rapidly mutate into, usually, less deadly forms. Covid is no exception to this rule.

Vaccinated people can catch, and carry, the delta or other variant(my wife is a little under the weather with the delta variant right now), but usually their resistance is boosted and they don’t develop symptoms as severe as the unvaccinated do. My wife had a very light case of the original virus, while I had a more severe one. This time, she has a bit of a cough, not nearly as bad as her daughter or I had, but has more symptoms of this variant than I do.

I’m vaccinated, and I’ll be damned if I wear a mask to go out to eat or the grocery store, or support school closures and lockdowns that deny children so much and only increase the wealth of the oligarchy at the expense of everyone else, including truly small businesspeople.

Anyway, most people who actually die are either elderly or have pre-existing conditions, and there are many, that make them more vulnerable to dangerous respiratory infections. Ever notice how the corporate media and the Covid alarmists never mention that important fact? Nope, all they do is moralize and lecture so they can feel superior to others. Or, maybe some of them just like being afraid of something for some reason that I do not understand. And some folks just like fearmongering.

Population density.  Duh.   Low population density means more conservative voters, and also fewer options for meeting other people to pass the virus on.  It should not be a surprise to anyone that higher population densities mean more transmission regardless of the level of vaccination.

“low population density” (necessarily) means …  “fewer options for meeting other people to pass the virus on”. On the contrary, I would say that people in “low population density” areas may actually be more inclined than their urban peers to socialize, through regular church attendance, local bars and restaurants, workplaces, and community picnics and other local events.

But remember–when there are more deaths from vaccines than from the disease, this is a major sign of success.  It means that vaccine-related deaths are outnumbered by a vastly larger number of people who have been saved from death by the vaccine.

BTW–I just checked the original article, and there is not a single citation of the per capita rates, which is the only way to compare high and low population areas.

One of which was a church in Arkansas that seems to have been akin to a “snake-handler church”, where the pastor (and maybe others) can believe that they can handle a poisonous snake without any repercussions, if they just believe strongly enough. I haven’t been back to Arkansas since the Covid crap hit the fan, but my relatives there have informed me that they’ve just been taking the basic precautions, and they’re OK.

WTF? Why should there be _any_ deaths from a vaccine? That’s a failure in my book. It’s supposed to save people not kill people.

If 300 people die from a vaccine, and 3 million don’t die because the vaccine prevented the disease, that is a huge success.

That goes for vaccines, synthetic pharmaceuticals and herbal products.  You’d prefer going back to the era before vaccines, when life expectancies were 41 years of age?  No vaccines means that 3 million instead of 300 die.

Where did I say I was against all vaccines? I’ve never heard of the type of effects and numbers of deaths from other vaccines as we have with the Covid shots. They need to improve it or least explain why some people are getting adverse reactions and others aren’t. Until then, I’m not taking it. I will continue to wear masks and social distance.

And then there is no arguing this with anyone who considers death from this vaccine as a success.

This is from last Friday’s White House press conference – which is so full of bullshit that I am unexpectantly astounded, since I never watch this crap –

                https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/press-briefings/2021/07/16/press-briefing-by-press-secretary-jen-psaki-july-16-2021/

So, you know, that is more than just competition about vaccines.  The risk and impact there is that this type of information magnifies, you know, the risk of potential side effects associated with Western vaccines.  This is what they’re — what the information — some of this misinformation is doing — and misleads the public by falsely alleging that mRNA vaccines are untested and, thus, risky, even though many of them are approved and have gone through the gold standard of the FDA approval process.

No, none of those vaccines have anything but emergency approval, with the makers given blanket immunity from causing harm by using the “vaccine” label.

So you are not having any sort of useful conversation with these bad actors.  The script has been written.

                  https://www.nvic.org/vaccines-and-diseases/measles/measles-vaccine-injury-death.aspx

As of May 31, 2019, there have been more than 94,972 reports of measles vaccine reactions, hospitalizations, injuries and deaths following measles vaccinations made to the federal Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS), including 468 related deaths, 7,127 hospitalizations, and 1,820 related disabilities. However, the numbers of vaccine-related injuries and deaths reported to VAERS may not reflect the true number of serious health problems that occur after MMR vaccination.

Even though the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 legally required pediatricians and other vaccine providers to report serious health problems following vaccination to federal health agencies (VAERS), many doctors and other medical workers giving vaccines to children and adults fail to report vaccine-related health problem to VAERS. There is evidence that only between 1 and 10 percent of serious health problems that occur after use of prescription drugs or vaccines in the U.S. are ever reported to federal health officials who are responsible for regulating the safety of drugs and vaccines and issue national vaccine policy recommendations.17,18,19,2021

                  https://www.cdc.gov/vaccinesafety/concerns/concerns-history.html

From 1955 to 1963, an estimated 10-30% of polio vaccines administered in the US were contaminated with simian virus 40 (SV40). The virus came from monkey kidney cell cultures used to make polio vaccines at that time. Most of the contamination was in the inactivated polio vaccine (IPV), but it was also found in oral polio vaccine (OPV). After the contamination was discovered, the U.S. government established testing requirements to verify that all new lots of polio vaccines were free of SV40.

Imask protocol is way safer than vax and ill bet more effective. These leaky vaxes  are gonna make a monster virus: why? a good vax targets the whole virus, these attack the spike protein which by evolution makes the virus try to evade. These vaxes might work if there werent do many cases but this is just evolutionary madness

        https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/hcp/conversations/understanding-vacc-work.html

–Live, attenuated vaccines fight viruses and bacteria. These vaccines contain a version of the living virus or bacteria that has been weakened so that it does not cause serious disease in people with healthy immune systems. Because live, attenuated vaccines are the closest thing to a natural infection, they are good teachers for the immune system. Examples of live, attenuated vaccines include measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine (MMR) and varicella (chickenpox) vaccine. Even though they are very effective, not everyone can receive these vaccines. Children with weakened immune systems—for example, those who are undergoing chemotherapy—cannot get live vaccines.

–Inactivated vaccines also fight viruses and bacteria. These vaccines are made by inactivating, or killing, the germ during the process of making the vaccine. The inactivated polio vaccine is an example of this type of vaccine. Inactivated vaccines produce immune responses in different ways than live, attenuated vaccines. Often, multiple doses are necessary to build up and/or maintain immunity.’

–Toxoid vaccines prevent diseases caused by bacteria that produce toxins (poisons) in the body. In the process of making these vaccines, the toxins are weakened so they cannot cause illness. Weakened toxins are called toxoids. When the immune system receives a vaccine containing a toxoid, it learns how to fight off the natural toxin. The DTaP vaccine contains diphtheria and tetanus toxoids.

–Subunit vaccines include only parts of the virus or bacteria, or subunits, instead of the entire germ. Because these vaccines contain only the essential antigens and not all the other molecules that make up the germ, side effects are less common. The pertussis (whooping cough) component of the DTaP vaccine is an example of a subunit vaccine. See also conjugate vaccines.
