      100. Too bad! I was away on a fruitless mission, but I knew the answer.

      I went to electronics school in the military, and they fed us all kinds of stories about Faraday, Gauss, Edison, Marconi, Farnsworth, and… DeForest.  This was at the time much military electronic gear still used vacuum tubes, which the Brits call “valves.”
