David Duke: Charlottesville protests about ‘fulfilling promises of Donald Trump’

David Duke: Charlottesville protests about ‘fulfilling promises of Donald Trump’, 08/12/2017

Former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke appeared at the “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Va. prior to Saturday’s violent clashes, saying that the event represented fulfilling the promises of President Trump.

“This represents a turning point for the people of this country. We are determined to take our country back, we’re going to fulfill the promises of Donald Trump, and that’s what we believed in, that’s why we voted for Donald Trump, because he said he’s going to take our country back and that’s what we gotta do,” Duke said.

The president condemned the violence in Charlottesville hours after the white nationalist gathering began in a tweet.

“I would recommend you take a good look in the mirror & remember it was White Americans who put you in the presidency, not radical leftists,” Duke tweeted, referring to Trump’s base.

    1. wtf

ooh, i’m so glad to see the scum rising again

was hoping duke died from his 7 facelifts

did a little research on duke: son of a shell oil company engineer who did a lot of traveling overseas.  somewhat privileged background.  influenced by william luther pierce, also of a privileged background, and a physicist.  seems like duke has spent most of his life without working, aside from his white supremacy gigs.  smells rotten in denmark to me.

otoh, here’s the early background of one of pierce’s followers:  who died in prison from an ‘epileptic seizure’:

Lane was born as the third of four siblings in Woden, Iowa; he had a brother and two sisters. His father was an alcoholic migrant worker who was physically abusive towards his wife and children. Lane would later claim that his father forced his mother to engage in prostitution so he could obtain “booze money”, and that his older brother was rendered with permanent deafness as a result of a “beating gone awry”.[5] When Lane was four years old, his father abandoned his family. In 1944, his older brother was arrested after searching for food in a neighbor’s trash bins, and he and his sisters were placed in foster care. Lane was soon adopted by a traveling Lutheran minister, which resulted in Lane being separated from his two sisters

Pierce, otoh, died of cancer, a free (and wealthy) man.

    2. Duke has been pushing for a race war for 20 years.

He just doesn’t want to be one of the white supremacists killed in it.

      3. Duke's words are quite chilling, and we should all consider them

as a threat, and a warning, particularly to people with brown skin, and non-Christians who voted for Trump because they could not bring themselves to vote for Herself.

And we all know why – and how -Herself ended up as his opponent.

    5. What does he mean take back the country?

Nazis are a Foreign German ideology. They never really had our country to begin with. Our country fought a war and won against them.

Now the KKK, that paid organized crime to put out a hit on MLK, while the FBI did Nothing, that’s due to uber rich white plantation owners not liking their slaves being freed. The KKK was formed because some 1 percenters lost some money on slave purchases. They try to dress it up with flags and symbols of the dead Southern soldiers. But in the end, the KKK was formed cause some uber rich white men lost some money.

They should just have a slogan like “give us back our slave payments” or maybe “Slave costs were too high.” Something more historically accurate like that.

    6. Not surprised Duke said this

I am surprised at all the Repub senators denouncing the violence.  They enabled it.  Anyone with half a brain could have seen this coming.  I fear it is only going to get worse.

    7. When you have David Duke speaking on your behalf

you’ve done something very, very wrong, but since we have a bonafide neo Nazi advising Donald, Duke will never be denounced because Bannon agrees with everything he says.

I wonder if anyone has ever looked into Donald’s connection to neo Nazis? Perhaps that was why he made such an stink about President Drone’s birth certificate. He hates black people. Perhaps that’s why Bannon was chosen as an advisor.  If we had REAL JOURNALISTS in this country, they would be digging deep into that issue.

DEMEXITED BECAUSE THEY'RE CORRUPT TO THE CORE!
