The morning after Americans learned they will likely lose their governmentally-enshrined right to reproductive autonomy, President Joe Biden told them to get out and vote. Even though Supreme Court appointees aren’t democratically elected; even though his party controls the White House and Congress, the other two-thirds of the government’s system of checks and balances; even though some argue that former liberals on the court fumbled the bagby not handing off power; even though there are already plenty of elected abortion rights supporters in Congress who still weren’t able to stop this.

No, the Democrats woke up in power and only remembered how to blame the people that got them there, rather than take any responsibility. There’s no shortage of names that Roe’s overturning could be blamed on: “pro-choice” (in name only) Republican Senator Susan Collins, who helped get Justice Brett Kavanaugh onto the court after he said he’d protect it, which lol; former president Donald Trump, who appointed three arch conservatives to the court; obstructionist Senators Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) and Joe Manchin (D-WV). Instead, Democrats are pushing it back on their voters.

“If the Court does overturn Roe, it will fall on our nation’s elected officials at all levels of government to protect a woman’s right to choose. And it will fall on voters to elect pro-choice officials this November,” the White House’s statement on the leaked majority opinion draft reads. One could argue that under an administration ostensibly so committed to defending this right, it should already fall on our nation’s elected officials at all levels of government to protect it… But that hasn’t been what we’ve seen in action. Remember barely two months ago, when Biden failed to say the word “abortion” onceduring his State of the Union?

      (snip)

Abortion rights are popular with Americans; the Democrats are making it harder than it needs to be to mobilize around it, while Republicans have wasted no time building a bigger and bigger movement based on targeting the marginalized. Meanwhile, Democratic leaders like Nancy Pelosi (CA) are endorsing anti-choice candidates in races where pro-choice ones like Jessica Cisneros are running. We can’t be surprised; Pelosi’s been leaving the Democratic “big tent” open to anti-abortion candidates for years. But, right. It’s the voters’ faults.

We need to vote ALL of these government teat-suckers out of office and elect people who will actually do things.  Wait, that’s not fair.  The people in office do things: they solicit campaign donations from corporations, they guzzle the jizz of rich people, they go to town halls and emit words.  We need to elect people who will do things that are good for the country.

And still all advancement on ALL fronts is on the Right.    Lets play a word association game.  I think that will clarify the half a bowl of shit that has been served up since Jesse (the Microsoft shill) Jackson used to speak truth.

First up is the Queen of “regime change” herself – Hillary Rodham Clingon … er Clinton.  The words to associate with this champion of women’s rights is simply Tim Kane.  This gnome looking fuck is the epitome of assholes who run as democrats because they would never get it as Republicans.  But is he any better than a Republican really.

Next we have the King of Smooth shit talk himself – Barack Hussein Obama.   The words to use on this political cuck is Merrick Garland.  That son-of-a-bitch stood by like a cuck while all manner of evil fuckery befell ALL the RIGHTS including Roe-v-Wade.   He cucked his way through 8 years of ass raping by the super wealthy on an economically challenged population (I mean broke bastards).  The big corporate dick came and pissed oil all over the Gulf of Mexico and frankly the water resources of the world.  He cucked his ass off playing with the little tarballs he had to avoid on his cuck stunt.  Then he cucked in a corner while the evil law-breaking occurred with DAPL, Flint, GM bailout, home mortgage abuse and pillage, and too many things to list.  Fuck that evil corporate fluffer.  And don’t get me started on his “those inner city people just need to eat better” bitch of a wife.   How is that helpful without some MONEY whore???

Then we got the current pRESIDENT Joe (the soul restorer) Biden.  This live MR Potato Head has not one, but two sets of words or names that one can mention that should forever shut his fucking bumbling ass up.  One is Anita Hill.  The other is Tara Read.  They should but they wont for he is as delusional as the day is bright.

So from a war-mongering WannaBe, to a cuckold HasBeen, to what is now AHalfBowlofShit; we have endured all three of these intolerable gigantic ASSHOLES as they whittled away at all things popular and good and all the while pretended to do good shit.   Well it really was/is shit and definitely not good.   ======  RANT Off!!!

I just got an email from the DCCC telling me to do exactly what you described. I think many faithful Democrats are ready to call it quits after years of supporting third way candidates and watching everything slipping away. I know many people who invested time, effort and money to elect Democrats who abandoned them. It’s the party that favors Joe Manchin over Bernie Sanders, which speaks to people in a clear way.

      @JonLP,

I do not listen to the Democrats.

(They have earned that level of respect.)

      They don’t.
Abortion Rights would have been a congressionally passed law decades ago.
But what we call Democrats now are Right-wing enablers of the far right Republicans. They just aren’t quite as bad as the wing nuts.

Indeed, the diversion to the probable loss of the right to

an abortion, which  the Dems could have avoided by law

for a very long time, is nothing in comparison to the present

dangers of  either a nuclear war or an economic disaster on

          a world wide scale.

      50 YEARS!

They would always scream at election time how “….your reproductive rights are in danger! The right wing is going to take Roe away! Vote for us and keep giving us money so we can stop them!!!”

And then they get elected and do nothing!

They played that same campaign jargon for 50 years! Then the fucking idiots over at SV trying to blame this on Bernie. Where was Obama? Where was Clinton? Where was Carter? None of those guys advanced abortion rights while in office. But it’s Bernie’s fault because he dared step in the way of Hillary’s coronation?

And let’s talk about Congress…. January 2009… the Democrats had the House, and 60 votes in the Senate. And Obama was in the White House. Why not pass a bill immediately that assured reproductive rights? It’s been what the Democrats were running on for years! That should have been priority #1, right? Nope. What did the Democrats do instead? They passed the Ledbetter Act for equal pay, which literally did absolutely nothing for the pay gap. Then Congress moved on to the stimulus, which bailed out the banks. And then they moved on to a heated battle over Obamacare….not only that…but the “blue dog” Democrats in the House made sure abortion wasn’t part of the ACA. Reproductive rights was no longer the priority in the party.

Then of course you got Harry Reid who ended the Senate filibuster for judicial nominees so Obama can get all his through. What happened next? The Democrats lost the Senate and then lost the White House. So now the Democrats couldn’t filibuster Trump nominees. The Democrats could have stopped Kavanaugh and Barrett, at least. So what are the geniuses doing now? Talking about getting rid of the legislative filibuster…6 months before they are about to lose the Senate, and with a President with record low approval ratings. Yeah…..REAL SMART THERE!

Oh….but SV wants you to know it’s Bernie’s fault.

It’s never the Democrats’ fault. And no Democrat can ever admit it, or else they will be kicked out of the cult.

Such an interesting voter outreach strategy. Make promises to improve the material lives of most Americans. Win elections. Do nothing. Lose elections. Blame voters who refused to vote for them after being lied to. Rake in money from comfortable party members and poor deluded suckers in the working class. Wait for Republicans to royally fuck things up. Win Elections. Do Nothing. Lose elections. Rinse, cycle, repeat.

He signed the Hyde Amendment, meaning the government wouldn’t finance abortions for poor women. It was the first of many conservative chips at Roe,trying to gut it to almost nothing.

And it was one of the first indicators that Dr.Teeth had pioneered the bait and switch that is now SOP for Democrats—talk populist and govern conservative.

You are being toyed with for decades, Mr. & Mrs. America. The real strategy of those who get into office and are romanced with this position of power is how it can be used to control populations. Congress has known since passing Roe what they must do, but it’s held as a bargaining chip with real people’s lives always hanging in the balance.

What a game the politically elite play with the poorest people. It always effects them first and continually. Pox upon the oligarchy

The Devil is, of course, pro-choice.  But for Hell’s sake, there are still people dying of Covid. There are still people dying in Ukraine. Millions of mortals can’t afford to buy fucking groceries, or the gas to get to the damned store, and there’s extreme shitty weather all over your side of Earth’s crust. The Likud terrorist funded foreign lobby stole an election in Ohio AGAIN. And Madison Cawthorne is dressing up in lingerie and having gay sex with his own cousin, apparently.

Yet there’s been ONE story in the fucking news cycle all week. And it’s hysteria about something that hasn’t even happened yet. It’s never been the single most important issue on the planet and it never will be. But you’d never know it from the corporate media… and even some of the not-so-corporate media the last few days.
