That title is like asking if the sky is blue. Duh.
U.S. forces and the CIA are alleged to have carried out unlawful killings and torture, bothin Afghanistan and through the secret “rendition” of terrorist suspects, but the U.S. has taken measures to frustrate any prosecution of its troops.

Tufts UniversityInternational prosecutors tasked with looking into alleged war crimes in Afghanistan have no shortage of potential targets.
Afghan soldiers and warlords have been accused of rape, murder and kidnap almost since fighting began in late 2001. The deliberate targeting of civilians by the Taliban and other groups continues to this day.
Meanwhile, U.S. forces and the CIA are alleged to have carried out unlawful killings and torture, both in Afghanistan and through the secret “rendition” of terrorist suspects to a number of European countries.
A Hague Invasion?
Most perpetrators have to date gone unpunished. But on March 5, judges at the International Criminal Court, or ICC, gave the ICC prosecutor authority to begin an investigation into possible war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Afghanistan. The probe will look into the alleged murder, imprisonment, torture and intentional targeting of civilians committed by Afghan government, Taliban and U.S. forces.

It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets.

I would love to see our country get taken to court! I would love to see the last 3 presidents and the newly elected president indicted for war crimes. Sadly I am not counting on it

so military attacks against that country are violations of international law. It says so in the UN Charter and every other multilateral peace treaty the US is party to. The issue isn’t a matter of opinion. The Nuremberg tribunals established without doubt, that aggressive war is the supreme war crime.

Afghanistan was just as much a war crime from day one as Iraq was. The Hague courtrooms should be packed with American and NATO war criminal defendents.
All governments lie to their citizen's, but only Americans believe theirs.

While looking for a much older document called the International Tribunal On Afghanistan I found this instead. It might be relevant to the conversation.
