Did you get your virus postcard yet?

I got a postcard, the paper kind that shows up in the mailbox. It’s from the CDC and it tells me about President Trump’s guidelines. Really? The president’s guidelines? Not the CDC’s guidelines? If the president wrote these guidelines the same way he speaks on TV, it amounts to nothing more than incoherent blather. Many people see the word “Trump” and read no further. If the CDC wants us to take their recommendations seriously, they might try keeping Trump’s name out of it. This applies all the time, no matter who is president. If they sent out cards with Obama’s name on them, half would go straight into the trash (not the recycling, real Murkins don’t recycle). Federal agencies need to be smart, particularly when the president is not.

Yep – threw it away and washed my hands.

It actually says in big bold capital letters “PRESIDENT TRUMP’S CORONAVIRUS GUIDELINES FOR AMERICA”.
Yes. His. Not the CDC or WHO or even “US Government”, but his.

I guess Dan Patrick speaks for all of us here.
‘Cause that's what it would be. "Tea and cake or death? Tea and cake or death? Tea and cake or death!" Students with beards, (mimes demonstrating with picket signs) "Tea and cake or death! Tea and cake or death! Little Red Cookbook! Little Red Cookbook!" ‘Cause, "Cake or death?" That's a pretty easy question. Anyone could answer that.
