DNC Accuses The Nation Peddling "just another conspiracy theory" HA!

The DNC is now running scared, of the awful truth, that the DNC emails were leaked, not hacked

Editor’s note: After publication, [of below-linked Nation article published several days ago] the Democratic National Committee contacted The Nation with a response, writing, “U.S. intelligence agencies have concluded the Russian government hacked the DNC in an attempt to interfere in the election. Any suggestion otherwise is false and is just another conspiracy theory like those pushed by Trump and his administration. It’s unfortunate that The Nation has decided to join the conspiracy theorists to push this narrative.”

A New Report Raises Big Questions About Last Year’s DNC Hack  Former NSA experts say it wasn’t a hack at all, but a leak—an inside job by someone with access to the DNC’s system.

    1. US intelligence agencies concluded Saddam Hussein had WMDs too.

And they had more “evidence” of that than any Russian election interference.

    The DNC are morons.

DemExit! Don't give the Democrats a dime. Don't identify as a Democrat. Drop Democratic identification below 20%. Only then will they support true progressive policy. Until then, corporate money rules.

      3. Hmmmmm, I wonder

why they didn’t say “17 intelligence agencies…”? lol

        6. Damn right

Credit where it’s due: the Coast Guard’s spooks must have busted their salty balls getting to the bottom of DNC’s drawers, looking for Russians.

        7. That would be debunked since there were only three of 17 which

were of that evidence-free opinion, despite Shrillary’s claim of 17 in one of her debates.  A reprise of Sen. Joe McCarthy’s lists with a changing or shifting number of “Communists” in the State Department during the Red Scare of the 1950s.

    5. So the DNC isn't really for an investigation, never handed over their server(s)

and now is just going to flat out bitch slap the Nation?  I veered over to SV for a quick moment and boy howdy do they loathe the Nation now.  Critical thinking is so olde fashioned these days.

      8. If you remember, Katrina vanden Heuvel, part-owner and publisher of the Nation,

      endorsed Bernie early in 2016:

The Nation Magazine Endorses Bernie Sanders (With Katrina Vanden Heuvel):

“Bernie Sanders is the realist we should elect”:

However, The Nation writer Joan Walsh was (and probably still is) a Hillbot.

        9. SV hatred is directed more at Katrina's husband than Katrina herself.

Professor Stephen Cohen (her husband) knows Russia about as well as anybody who lives on the North American continent possibly can. And the Hillbots hate that, because Cohen isn’t buying the Russia narrative as they have been spinning it. Though he does admit that tensions between Russia and the US are higher than at any point since the breakup of the USSR, and that was the case before Cheeto’s alleged Russian ties were ever an issue.

Cohen turns up on Thom Hartmann’s radio show every couple of months or so. He’s probably due for another visit any time now. Of course the Hillbots are accusing Thom of being a “Russian spy” now, because he’s had a TV show airing on RT – which Thom has always had total editorial control over, and which he has decided to end next month. My prediction is that Thom is fed up with living inside the “beltway” and wants to move his radio show back to Portland, where he seemed happier.

I didn't refuse to vote for Hillary Clinton because any goddamned Russian told me to. I refused to vote for her because she is a warmongering, election stealing, Goldman Sachs fellating, Republican WHORE. No offense to sex workers.

          11. Interesting observation.

They hate anyone who questions the narrative du jour they are pushing. Whether it is “we’re all behind Obama” or “we’re all behind Hillary”. There was a tv personality, who used to appear on Faux Snooze once in awhile, who trashed Hillary on their forum in 2008 . . but then he turned 180º to support Hillary full tilt last year when the requirements to post there were changed to fit their narrative. They don’t matter much anymore.

          13. he's a PhD and a decades-long expert: of course they hate him

I got the book–remember when the Pope was shot? the first impulse was to blame the Russians; Sandoz leaks into the Rhine? Russians! Somoza and the Shah fall? Russians! Yellow Rain?

          14. last time I heard Thom (a couple of weeks ago) it was disappointing

He was defending the Democratic party, how it is changing for the better and so on —

so sad too bad.. I think there are two of him, and he needs to pick one (the one that brought us Bernie).
