DNC Makes Unbelievably Feeble Response To Latest Russiagate Debunking Evidence

    –snip–

It makes perfect sense, then, that when the left-leaning outlet The Nation brought the explosive findings of the Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity into the public spotlight with a lucid and thorough article, the DNC would want to push back on it. The findings both decimate the Russian hacking narrative and possibly implicate the DNC in colluding to frame Russia for what was almost certainly an insider leak, so some statement from the Committee was to be expected. I don’t think, though, that anybody expected its response to be quite so empty, vapid, butthurt and limp-dicked as the letter they ended up sending to The Nation’s editors:

    1. Kicked and recommended to the max!

I cannot belong to such an unethical political party. Democrats can hardly claim the moral high ground after cheating in the primary. And the unethical behavior has continued since. They have no intention of returning the party back to the people.

    2. Classic! They have avoided using the verb "conspire" in their own

messaging on Russia-gate.  They use the synonym “collude” instead and then claim there is a huge difference between a collusion theory and a conspiracy theory.

Then they end with a another collusion theory — “The Nation has decided to join the conspiracy theorists to push this narrative.”

To be clear, history shows us that collusion and conspiracy is how governments often operate so merely classifying something as conspiracy does nothing to invalidate it.  The only way to destroy any theory is to present facts that render it invalid but the DNC isn’t much into debating or logic these days.  The DNC’s collusion theory now has a huge hole in it and ironic name calling isn’t going to fix that.

      3. The DNC has painted itself into a corner

They’re stuck with their narrative. They just keep doubling -down. This is not going to end well for them.

    4. They seem awfully sure about something noone can be sure of.

Thus we know they are lying and have the whole Government covering for them.

    Time for revolution.

    5. What a fucking joke these idiots are. I guess now they'll say they found

WMD in Iraq as well. Mind boggling cognitive dissonance. Clinton Cognitive Dissonance Syndrome (CCDS) is alive and well.

    7. Patrick Laurence at Consortium News wrote this in anticipation

of the DNC’s/Intelligence Community’s response (or lack thereof):

    (from https://consortiumnews.com/2017/08/10/new-cracks-in-russia-gate-foundation/):

…regardless of what one may think about the investigations and conclusions I will now outline — and, as noted, these investigations continue — there is a bottom line attaching to them. We can even call it a red line. Under no circumstance can it be acceptable that the relevant authorities — the National Security Agency, the Justice Department (via the Federal Bureau of Investigation), and the Central Intelligence Agency — leave these new findings without reply. Not credibly, in any case. Forensic investigators, prominent among them people with decades’ experience at high levels in these very institutions, have put a body of evidence on a table previously left empty. Silence now, should it ensue, cannot be written down as an admission of duplicity, but it will come very close to one.

    9. seems to have hit a nerve, hasn't it?

now, why would the DNC be so up in a dander that they demanded this rather low-grade response be inserted into a story about file transfer speeds?

    10. "It's unfortunate that The Nation has decied to join the conspiracy

    theorists to push this narrative.”

Pretty god damned bizarre.  How long can they keep the front up?  I am astonished their Russia horseshit has lasted as long as it has.
