Donald Trump Jr.'s wife taken to hospital after getting letter with white powder

Donald Trump Jr.’s wife was taken to a hospital in New York today after opening a package at her home that contained an unknown white powder, police said.

Vanessa Trump, 40, was being examined at New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center as a precaution, according to cops.

The suspicious letter was sent to Trump Jr.’s apartment in Manhattan this morning, police said. Emergency medical services, firefighters and police were called to the apartment just after 10 a.m. after Vanessa Trump opened the letter, police said.

A source told ABC News the letter had a Boston postmark and was addressed Trump Jr. It contained a note indicating the sender was angry, said the source, who did not elaborate.

    2. I do not believe that a Republican has ever received

real anthrax in the mail or any other means. It has always been Democrats or people that conservatives thought were liberals.

    3. A package containing a white powder was delivered to Julian Assange last week.

The police inspected it before it got to him and the powder was harmless.

    • *Obligatory disclaimer - when I say "Democratic Party" I mean the DNC - the Clintons and the un-elected people and the consultants and the lobbyists and the corporations who actually run things.  The people who work and vote and are registered as "D" are no more the actual party than Trekkies are Star Trek.   Extra credit - the Democratic Party gets to actually fuck up your life. When you vote for it.
You think the only reason that people won't vote for a warmongering Third Way fracking-enabling cluster bomb throwing H-1B increasing lying pandering corporate and Wall Street shill who says she has no problem putting abortion rights on the table is because we are mad about Bernie?  Um, nope.

    4. The anthrax attacks were coordinated to coincide with 9-11

in order to ratchet up the populace to go to war.  All a part of their “Perle Harbor” event they needed to enact the PNAC.  So what are they ratcheting us up for now?  Anyone else smell war coming?

Think of all the “moderates” who, throughout history, have failed to oppose state-sanctioned aggression, oppression, and abuse, from slavery to child labor, while maligning those who call for change as dangerous and misguided, violent radicals. And yet, in retrospect, when a renewed social contract is established as the new normal, the unlawful actions that brought about these societal shifts are turned into mythical tales of nationalistic heroism and dates for kids to memorize at school.

        8. Well, true, but I was thinking a bit bigger of a war.

      14. "Perle Harbor" as in Richard Perle? Was this a zionist action?

        15. I don't buy into "zionist"

But it was a right wing neocon Israeli action.

    10. Well she got the royal treatment!

Many years ago we had an anthrax scare at the post office. The price for leaving was stripping down in a tent on the street to be decontaminated. It was not fun and left a mark on the community. Nothing like dragging god knows what into the hospital!

Life's too short to vote for immoral warmongers.
