      They really do not care, you know.  All that matters is their owners/donors.  That is not pessimistic, that is being realistic, based on history.  Most of Congress is not for anything that affects profits.  Period.

        give me more hope currently as there have been some decent success there.

        Would love to see some state ballot issues involving ranked choice voting.

        Perhaps there will be some progress in congress due to pressure from the public. Not counting on it but sometimes they do pass some stuff that is helpful.

        Will be looking forward to Justice Democrats efforts to primary corporate Dems in 2020.

        Would be good if the Green Party put together some solid ideas on how to get some members elected but so far I’m not seeing it. Some Greens may be better off running as Green Dems in areas where it’s tough to run as an Indy or 3rd party candidate.

        Still it’s obvious from every poll that comes out like the one mentioned in the article above that the people want progressive change. Now if we can just get our leaders to follow the will of the people….
