It appears over half of Americans have had covid in the last two years. The infection rate should be tapering off pretty soon. I would think. But we get new variants, so maybe not.

Symptoms will be less severe if there are any at all. Hospitalization and death rates are already low and dropping.

But our government will not tell us about natural immunity.

Next thing you’ll be telling us is that rainwater is actually drinkable.

So the overwhelming majority of Americans now have either natural or vaxxed immunity to present and future variants, which mutate to become milder and more contagious over time. That’s just viral evolution.

Future variants will be milder and more contagious? That is far from certain. As more of us get covid, we will be able to resist it better, but it’s not a given that a future variant cannot be nastier. Think of the flu virus. Every once in a while we get a variant that kicks ass. Same goes for colds. I just got over a cold that made me miserable and hung around for six weeks.

There are always exceptions. Covid thus far has not been one of them, and has done exactly as I described above. Even Fauci admits this when he’s not trying to boost the value of his Big Pharma stock.
