OK, one mask outside. How many of those people won’t be here next year?
We are an arrogant species, believing our fantasy based "facts" are better than the other person's fake facts.
If you are wrong, it will be because you are not cynical enough.
Both major political parties are special interest groups enabling each other for power and money, at the expense of the people they no longer properly serve…

Castle Rock is just far enough off the beaten track that people may think they’re not vulnerable. All it takes is one person in a crowded restaurant like that. I thank them for testing the waters for the rest of us. I will just hang back and allow the brave and the foolish to find a path through the minefield.

It’s a small town in southern Washington, about 40 or 50 miles north of Portland, Oregon. It’s just a couple minutes off I-5 so it gets some hungry tourists looking for lunch. Like most small towns, it has its share of MAGA people. I know somebody who lives there and she considers it too conservative for her tastes.

who turned out to have corona. He went clubbing in Seoul earlier this month, where he visited about 5 clubs in one night. They’ve already traced 54 new cases to those clubs.
On edit: Now it’s up to 86 cases, and climbing.

In violation of lockdown procedures, caused 25 cases. One little party among the wealthy caused at least that many infections, probably more because infected participants flew to other countries.
I can’t imagine how many people will get infected from this huge gathering. It only takes one person not feeling so good to infected everyone inside a store. Stores, next to churches, are the best places to catch the virus.
At least since this is illegal, their employees aren’t forced to choose between their health or their unemployment insurance payments.
The poor kids may suffer the worse from it what with 10% likely to catch it. Seems a lot more kids are getting infected but since kids are walking germ factories, it was/is going undiagnosed because it was/is attributed to other illnesses. Let’s hope when these infected children grow up they won’t have some other horrible illness like shingles from the infection.
