My wife and I recently started reading this crime-drama series. There are 21 books in all if I understand it correctly. We are flying through these as we find them very entertaining.

The protagonist Harry Bosch is a homicide detective in Los Angeles. Harry is beset with problems, mostly problems caused by the law enforcement hierarchy and their petty attitudes and emotions.

The first book in the series was released in 1992 but the age of the books doesn’t seem to be a detraction.

      Highly recommended.

I would like to remind you that U.S. health insurance companies do not contribute anything to health care. They are only a PARASITIC middle man receiving an undeserved cut of "FREE MONEY".

Equally recommended is the Amazon series of the same namesake: BOSCH.

Very entertaining.  Titus Welliver does an amazing job in the lead role.

I also really enjoyed the books and was happily surprised by the Amazon series. And as ThouArtThat says, Titus Welliver was indeed an excellent choice for Bosch.

I loved the books. Unfortunately I can’t watch the TV Series.

We’ve watched all the Bosch seasons and loved them. Titus Welliver, who I had never seen as an actor before, is engaging as a detective who loves his work and is going to do what he sees as right.

Desperate for a new Bosch season, I researched this the other day and learned there’s one ready to go and Amazon renewed for another season. Yay!

Also the Lincoln Lawyer ones too. I read them all in a row until several years ago. I didn’t like the show especially when compared to Bosch’s relationship with Eleanor Wish.

The plot of 9 Dragons is unintentionally hilarious. Bosh tries to save Wish by pushing her but instead pushes her into the direction of the bullets accidentally killing her. Something like that would make for great TV. I also preferred Bosch as a Vietnam War tunnel rat.

The next book in the Bosch/Lincoln Lawyer series I haven’t read is The Gods of Guilt.

I do highly recommend The Lincoln Lawyer film which is very close to The Lincoln Lawyer book.

Seeing Jeri Ryan in one of the seasons (and a later cameo) was an unexpected bonus; dayum, resistance was futile to binging those episodes.
