Thanks for posting this. I’ve been following this one. I’m not sure if she was being interviewed in AU, but his accent gave that indication.
I see that the five eyes would normally try to suppress this information, or talk over it, but she was having none of that.
Hell, no... I'm not giving up...

Anya never takes their crap. That’s one of the things that makes her such a great journalist. She always has the facts to back up her statements too. She knows what she’s talking about.

Same shit, different day. Che Guevara was captured and executed by the Bolivian military, as commanded by the global economic elite, in 1965.
Stop fascism before it stops you.

The truth is, there’s no such thing as being “anti-Fascist.” Either you are a decent human being with a conscience, or you are a fascist.

It’s sure looking more and more like a coup. However, Grayzone’s characterization of how the Bolivian Supreme Court ruled Morales as being just and fair is complete and total bullshit. His appointees said that a referendum that denied him the right to seek a 4th term was a violation of his personal human rights.
That’s just absurd. Evo Morales wanted to hold onto power, and for some reason was unwilling or unable to let someone else in his party run in his stead. He opened the door to this shit by stacking the Supreme Court and running again. Morales is not blameless, and is not the pure people’s martyr Grayzone is casting him as.
One would think a news organization like Grayzone would shine their light on the gray as well, but nope, they’re all black and white, good and evil. Dualistic duplicity.
All that said, nothing he did justifies the military coup that we are seeing, or the ongoing effort by greedy wealthy Fascists in Bolivia to seize power and roll back Morales’ reforms. It’s just that Grayzone loses credibility with me when they gloss over a blatant power grab by Morales like that.
I’m sure there’s a strong racist element at work as well–most of these “middle class” people who are in the opposition are primarily of European ancestry, while Morales represents Bolivia’s majority mostly indigenous population. They want to be on top again, and put the indios back in their place.
We shouldn’t lose sight of that aspect of Bolivia, either.
