Holiday decorations gone wild: Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer carcass?

NEW ORLEANS – During the holidays you’re most likely to see cute Santa decorations or beautifully lit trees, but in the Bywater neighborhood in New Orleans there’s a home with something a little different.

The decorations depict Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer being cooked on an open fire.

You may want to cover your children’s eyes when you walk by.

Need a twerking Santa robot to go with it

      2. I agree. The first one is pretty sick.

          4. I certainly wouldn't have wanted to walk by that house as a kid

or as an adult, for that matter.

                7. Hope it was a good end of day!

It’s a pretty sick story anyway. Dead deers and kids seeing something gross

    8. I really have to stop studying things like cultural cognition and

world view stuff. Like everyone else this is actually NOT something I would like displayed at all, much less during the holidays. I lived with this all of my childhood, except the majority of the carcasses were beef, not deer because we had our own ranch.

Then I said to myself, “Self, you know a whole lot of people would consider this a blessing. From hunger. And that is even during this time, not just back in the ‘good old days.”

How many millions, if not billions of people, would be thrilled to have that on their porch?

I really have to quit this study shit real soon now.
