I pulled the screen protector and pulley from the clutch and sprayed the shit out of it with WD40. I guess I freed up those ball bearings that engage the shaft from the engine. Im back in garden business!

Thanks Covid for giving me so much time at home. (sarcasm)

Geez, we could’ve had a DIY video on this!

Congratulations… It’s still too early for my Mantis to fire up, and Dog help us if I ever had to fix it.

Hell, no... I'm not giving up...

I have a few flower beds that are no-till because I’ve been able to supplement the soil. But my big plot would take tons of compost.

I Do grow buckwheat as an excellent cover crop in the big garden. It’s broad leaves choke out weeds nicely, and when the buckwheat is about a foot tall, I scythe it down and let it decay into the soil. It has the effect of ‘sweetening’ the soil too. Nice stuff.

My soil is a sandy loam. Drains nicely, but that draining leaches out good stuff and makes the soil a little acidic, hence the buckwheat. It raises the PH as it gets incorporated into the soil.

but it isn’t much of a lubricant actually. Try get some oil into the same areas that you got the WD40 into. I knew you could do it!
