      Corbyn Sanders 5cdcb

One year ago this columnist wrote about the Integrity Initiative, an arm of British intelligence masquerading as an NGO. “The Integrity Initiative is a means of undermining the sovereignty of the British people by manipulating them with lies. It engaged in numerous efforts to libel Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn and prevent him from ever being elected prime minister.” There is no claim of precognition here, just an effort to connect the dots regarding those forces that make the word democracy a sham and a lie.

The Labour party suffered a resounding defeat in the elections held on December 12, 2019. They didn’t just lose to the conservative Tories, they lost in a landslide. Constituencies that had dependably voted for Labour for many decades suddenly switched sides.

The 2016 Brexit referendum played a significant role in these events. The region known as the Labour party heartlands voted in favor of leaving the European Union. Jeremy Corbyn originally pledged to support the result even though he favored remaining in the E.U. But he was convinced to change course and promised a second referendum. The Brexiters in his party wanted their choice to be respected and were rightly angry.

But there is another factor that must be discussed in analyzing this election. Corbyn and his party were relentlessly targeted by the corporate media who worked in collusion with the Tories, the surveillance state, and rightwing forces in the country. He was accused of being a Russian agent and an anti-Semite. The latter charge was often used against him and the entire party. The smear was repeated quite often and created an endless need to respond. Of course, the target is never free in such instances. Corbyn couldn’t focus on his message when prominent people like the country’s chief rabbi called him “unfit for office.” The Archbishop of Canterbury helped shove Corbyn under the bus by asserting that British Jews lived in “fear and insecurity.”

We all knew that years ago.    That is what the DEMOCRATS will do to Bernie, to stave off a nomination.  Of course the GOP will do that.  And the media. And Obama evidently said he will not interfere with the primaries, unless, of course, he needs to stop Bernie.  We know all that going in.  Not a reason to not even try.  Personally, there is no one else I will vote for.  Bernie or Green.

Do not expect Bernie to become President, even if he gets 80% of the vote. You can be sure those electronic voting machines and tabulators are infallible.

Did Corbyn and Labour ever actively and strongly push back against the smears? If they did, I sure didn’t see it, which just goes to show if one ignores a smear it will eventually stick.

They’re already trying to say Bernie is anti-Semitic, even though he is 1) Jewish 2) Lived and worked on an Israeli kibbutz when he was a young man, and 3) Lost close relatives to the Nazi Holocaust.

Bernie has pushed back on this on the campaign trail. He will have to push back more forcefully, I’m sure, but I don’t think this smear’s going to work. It’s bullshit even more obvious than what was thrown at Corbyn.

Bernie isn’t going to sit down and take their bullshit.

Just wait for the first reporter who has the balls to ask him to his face about being an antisemite. He will tear that reporter apart. It’s beyond being distasteful and horrendously shameful to say that about a man who lost his family in the Holocaust and HE’S JEWISH!

They’re really digging down to the bottom of the barrel out of pure desperation because they know he’s going to win the nomination…if their election fraud fails.

Bernie’s Telon is 50 years thick, ain’t NOTHING gonna stick.

Bernie figured he could do more good ALIVE,
than dead in a small plane "accident".
      I think he's right.

      Don't you?

@ohiobarbarian  When the MSM like Gaurdian and BBC sides are those doing the smearing, any pushback will get zero coverage.  Corbyn, and his supporters, did push back against the smear.  It was not covered by any of the lackeys at MSM.

For Bernie, more than anti-semitic, he will be tarred as a racist and a misogynist.  He and his team will pushback against this, however, he will not get any traction in the press.

Corbyn made two fatal mistakes. The first, though it was only a “mistake” was to speak out against the murderous apartheid regime of the state of Israel. There has been a generations long program of indoctrination to claim that Israel is the Jewish people and therefore any criticism of Israel is an attack on all Jews. That program has worked. Second, he caved to the remainders in the Labor Party, which was understandably – and predictably – seen as a betrayal of the British working class. The smear may certainly have played  a role, but beware that it also covers up the role of the main reasons.

Bernie has already made the first “mistake”. He has criticized the Israeli state. But he will never be seen as betraying the working class, and charges of misogyny and racism are well known to be universally bogus attempts by Clinton tool SJWs and dismissed out of hand.
