trashing your own neighborhood? I’m not so sure.

But I am pretty sure any mainstream reactions to it will only be to create further division.

Hopefully those here are above that.

It’s still my biggest takeaway from following Bernie (which led me to SV, and thus here): we’ve got far more in common than differences, and it’s the 1% that survive (and conquer) only as long as they can keep us divided.

said, meekly, oh, okay, sorry to have made a fuss, yes, I will bend over because that is what is evidently wanted.  Surely there is a middle ground.  If not, we cannot pick and choose and direct uprisings, and I doubt this is the last one.  One that may be coming due to evictions and no food and no jobs will be quite fucking bipartisan, IMO.  OWS and the Chicago riots were put down harshly.  And nothing came from them, either.

Everything I post is just my opinion, and, honestly, I would love to be wrong.

better than Gore? A few million Iraqis may think so.

And nothing came of OWS? Isn’t that what started the current progressive movement, opened the door for Bernie to run for potus, and brought us all here?

And yes, OWS inspired Bernie and others, but they never dented Wall Street’s hold on us.  They were crushed in the streets, IMO, because they refused to carry water for Obama.

I am not participating on orchestrated outrage.  And anyone who says that means I am a Trump lover – oh, get another pathetic meme, and also fuck off.

All this is going to do to Congress is give them a tasty excuse to not give any more stimulus help to people.  IMO.

and OWS… BOTH OBAMA THUGGISH moves.

Congress at least has bunkers and tunnels to hide in, the full backing of the government and police protection. At Standing Rock and OWS, it was the exact opposite.

I’m glad no one was hurt, but I didn’t hear any of them saying anything against Obama and his Standing Rock and OWS Thugs. The shoe is now on the other foot. I wonder how they like it?

I honestly do not feel sorry for them. I do feel sorry for the families of the 340,000 people who have died because of COVID-19 and Congress’s inaction. I do feel sorry for all the people who have lost their jobs because of Congress’s inaction. I do feel sorry for all the people who have lost their homes because of Congress’s inaction. I do feel sorry for all the families who have lost their businesses because of Congress’s inaction. Do they still think giving billions of dollars to their corporate donors instead of helping citizens was the right thing to do?

I will say – they brought this on themselves. They need to look in the mirror and ask themselves if ignoring the citizens of this country during a pandemic was the right thing to do. Are they even capable of doing that? I think not. They’re all too self centered and WEALTHY. They do not care.

Just in one week we’ve had Pelosi’s house vandalized, Turtle man’s house was vandalized and now this. Do they really believe this will now be the end of it? They better start working for WE THE PEOPLE.

who were trying to shame Bernie for staunchly holding out for stimulus checks, when congress was ready to pass the latest round with the absolute minimum they thought they could get away with. Hundreds of readers, all bleating the same, “See that terrible Bernie, always trying to make the perfect the enemy of the good”.

Because fighting for 2 crumbs is being “perfect” when you could fall in line and accept nothing. Fight for nothing because you can always shoot for a crumb or two later.

This is the kind of brainwashing we’re up against.

they (RWers and Dem elites) will say it’s bad. Even though Trumpers have to have lost  jobs, their homes, family members to COVID-19 and helthcare, they argue against Bernie and what he does to try to help them. They really are brainwashed and it all started with Fox News, Limbaugh, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity and their ilk. This is what they (RW MEDIA) have wrought.

who had big respect for Bernie when he was running against Her. Don’t forget, this is the reason Bernie could have won — the attraction by those who don’t buy into the msm narrative. And it’s also why Her lost, right?

So again, we need to be careful not to underestimate or marginalize just how much we have in common with others across the spectrum who aren’t blindly buying the “left vs right” narrative.

Wall Street doesn’t seem fazed by this. Dow Jones ended up over 400 points. Overnight trading is up a little.

I have to admit I love the idea of storming all Wasington fake democracy institutions, but by a bipartisan IDPOL filled mob!

All governments lie to their citizen's, but only Americans believe theirs.
