I should say that I’ve been wearing a mask in public longer than most, if not all, of the rest of you guys. Since January of this year, to be exact. And I’ll also have to say that wearing a mask THIS PAST WINTER has kept me from getting a bout of bronchitis that usually afflicts me at that time of year. But now it’s almost June, the prime minister and the governor have both lifted the stay-at-home recommendation for my “state”, my “state” has had no new cases for 2 weeks, and wearing a mask in this warm weather is becoming increasingly uncomfortable. Nevertheless, I wore a mask when I went shopping today. But I was glad to take it off once I was outside.
She works in a daycare center and is required to wear a mask at all times while at work. There’s a 99% chance she had Covid-19 back in early March and she was still going to work without a mask, coughing and everything, because that was before the lockdowns, not to mention she had no sick time and could get fired for missing too many days, even unpaid.
