Jill stein: Voting Justice & Democratizing Elections Philadelphia – Feb 25th

The struggle for fair and verifiable elections in Pennsylvania continues in Philadelphia next month. Despite not getting to recount the 2016 vote, we are moving ahead in our effort to reform voting systems to assure our votes are counted properly.

To that end, you are cordially invited to attend a day-long conference on

    Saturday, February 25
    9 am to 6 pm
    Friends Meeting House
    320 Arch St
    Philadelphia, PA 19106
It is free to the public and promises an informative line up of speakers and presenters. Anyone planning to attend should RSVP today.

The conference will offer information on
    evidence uncovered during the recount,
the status of challenges in court, and
ideas for moving forward to successfully restore voting integrity.

It will include experts from around the country, and from around Pennsylvania, addressing the many issues and challenges in Pennsylvania. Full details, and updates on the program, will be published at Jill2016.com. A well-informed citizenry is the best resource for the task educating and empowering the changes we need in our broken electoral system.
Among the topics to be explored at the conference are
    fair voting systems and equipment,
exposing and eliminating “electoral Jim Crow” laws and practices,
    alternatives to money and influence,
    ballot access,
legal action being taken and much more.

We will address Voter ID, Interstate Crosscheck and other restrictions that continue to disenfranchise voters throughout the United States. The conference is a non-partisan event that is designed for the activist, as well as for elected and appointed officials, and anyone in between.

Please watch the website for a detailed list of speakers, workshops and plenary session topics, and the corresponding time of each workshop. There will be an evening reception and mixer at the Meeting House on Friday, February 24, from 6 pm to 8 pm. On the day of the conference a continental breakfast and a lunch meal will be provided at no charge. Please consider attending so we can be sure our supporters are empowered and informed, so that we can mount reform efforts with the same energy as the amazing recount effort. Please join us and help keep the momentum moving forward. Thank you for remaining part of a solution for free, fair and verifiable elections.
